Thank you, Lauren. I too know far to many people that are willing to just give up when there are issues but as I see it if we are willing to work on them we shouldn't give up. If there comes a point where there is no way for us to deal with them then things will end (I learned from the ex that many people never want to fix things) but for at least now things seem to be getting better.

But if hes been abused in the past it wasnt his first...... did I miss something, the OP stated that he had been abused in the past and they were trying to work thru that..I can only assume that it was in the BDSM realm.....
