A couple of months ago, we had a thread here in Off Topic that was called "The Decline of Collar Me". It was a rather extensive thread. Many comments from various posters about how they felt the place was going. A lot of it wasn't good, though it was honest perspectives. I would be out of place if I skipped thanking all of the folks who participated in that thread to express themselves.

Over the past few days/weeks, something has happened and I'm seeing a bit of a change. Sure, we still have the random drive-by nonsense that will always be a part of the culture here, but the majority of content has been pretty good. We're getting back to topics that some of us can sink our teeth into. I, for one, am really enjoying it.

For those who are starting interesting topics on kink, authority dynamics, skill questions, and/or BDSM in general, as well as those who are giving well, thought out replies to these discussions, I would like to thank you. I appreciate you rising the bar for conversations that engage My mind and My spirit.

No question, really. I just wanted to say that I'm glad to be here with you.

I used to write alotta stuff in earnest, but you know how it is.  Now I just phone it in, it musta been the 'what did you do with the incense pot?  I left it in the hall cuz its too damn hot' gregorian chant.

There's always going to be pasty faced idjits wondering why they're not getting laid.

As I've been able to discern, it's generally the fault of CM.

Now, I for one am willing to accept that, my not getting laid is in fact the fault of CM....but I don't spend a great deal of time dwelling on that issue.

I have moved on and realized that, unlike others (because I've gained inherent knowledge over my vast and many tenuous years)...it is actually the fault of all the Dommes on the site.

This is because I've grown as a sub.

(Said of course, in the most submissive of ways).
