I don't know if I can actually put their names or offers up here, but there are a few people on this side and on the other who are just delightfully helpful and charming. What a treat!

You can put positive stuff up. The rule is against Blacklisting, etc.

Actually the people you are referring to have been marked to be placed in re education camps to change their compassion, helpfulness and cheerful attitude. Such character traits cannot be allowed to continue in this civilization, because it might prove contagious and thus ruin the current "look out for me" attitude in the job market, as well as business theory.

If you haven't noticed, people who exhibit this behavior seem to change dramatically, this is due to the re education techniques and psychological conditioning.

Of course, I am a full blooded cynic, and expect these people to end up being stabbed in the back, screwed over and otherwise jaded to the point where the thought of being helpful and nice makes them ill.

Yes I am a grumpy old guy.

Nonsense. Everyone here knows that you're Father Christmas, JLF. You've hardly bothered to change for your avatar pic and we can see the toy store behind you.

Huh, that's interesting, because I've always found the opposite. The people I know who are good, kind, friendly people tend to generally be happy and comfortable. Bad things happen to them, of course, but when they do people rally around to help and comfort them because they are so well-liked.

I'm not saying there's some kind of cosmic justice, but in my experience the nice people tend to be reasonably content and the selfish or mean people tend to be lonely and sad.

People are hard to judge by their comments here on CM I would say. There are people I argue with rant and rave against but on the other side in personal emails they are great people always willing to help or offer support.

In fact I will wager that this is true with the vast majority of people on this site no matter their political affiliation or BDSM designation… People are good all in all.

I like this thread. Notsweet, I would also be willing to bet that your positive attitude and expectation of niceness has a lot to do with it as well. Sometimes I think we tend to get the treatment we give
