LOL.  Im guilty.          I would chase the eye candy.

I do think there are other forms of beauty then what Madison Av presents us with.

A dynamic personality- a great mind can be very attractive.

What I am getting at, myself included, is we should be at peace with who we are. Head to toe. Inside and out. Clothed or naked. In public and in private.
That self hatred- self criticism is run-a-muck.

A person must love themself- before others can love them.

What a pity modern society is. We have reduced down to where we are at. Phony glitter.

I hope I do have wisdom. I am short on looks. [tho] thats life. one grows old...ages...and dies.

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 2:58:26 PM)

I think nonsexual nudity should be acceptable, but respect those who feel differently.

We're damn close anyhow, look at people on the streets during summer.

On that vein, I think it's horrible how teen girls are dressing (ridiculous amounts of cleavage that's 1/10 of an inch away from exposing nipples, skirts so short they can't even do the 'crouching down to pick something up' move without everyone around knowing their preferences for pubic hair) and if public nudity were allowed, too many of these girls would be putting themselves out there and wrong as it is, this does feel like an invitation for the sexual predators.  It would be nearly impossible to enforce any age limits/rules by law, there's already an outrageous shortage of law enforcement...

In a perfect world, we'd have the freedom to be nude in public without some kind of backlash, but the world is imperfect, so I can't say I support it [&o]

See, I KNEW it!

You're right about the rest of it too, of course.  Esp. Madison Avenue...

It's hard not to succumb to shallow tendencies sometimes, but I bet more of us value personality over looks as time goes by.  Eye candy is fun, though....

michaelGA2 -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 3:15:05 PM)

strange, for some reason my reply to you did not even send, so i'm going to try this again.

actually, what i'm talking about is nudity without restriction. you know, out in the streets, day-to-day, out in the open. something that does not costs people money or restrict them to a closed off, private area.

OedipusRexIt -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 3:18:43 PM)

Michael,

I understood your orignial post to be as you just described.  Sorry to have hijacked it.

I look forward to the day we're all that open minded.

pahunkboy -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 3:37:20 PM)

Hey Micheal, tear off those clothes right now!!  /foot stomp!/

michaelGA2 -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 3:40:10 PM)

what clothes?

LOL

NastyDaddy -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 3:43:54 PM)

Nudity does not scare people nearly as bad as the sight of some people nude.

Oh how I agree with you there, no one wants to see me nude LOL

feastie -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 5:02:46 PM)

Naaaaaa, I think nudity is best left in one's own home.  I have no need to see naked people in the mall or in a restaurant.

Hopefully, the Sierra Club and the Wilderness Society will put as much effort into visual pollution as they have into soil and water pollution.  Given the general condition of society, should nudity become commonplace, I'm going to invest in a company that makes blinders for humans.

pahunkboy -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 6:13:46 PM)

It would be fun to dance naked in the rain.   [lol-=what clothes....lol]

michaelGA2 -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 6:16:05 PM)

hey, what can i say, i live alone, so i can do whatever i wanna do...LOL

pahunkboy -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 9:45:20 PM)

In this humid heat- that makes sense.  I seldom wear shoes-socks inside. Outside is a diff story. Im on 2nd floor too.... yikes.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 10:02:02 PM)

Not really, i go nude all day everyday of course it's in the privacy of my own home and my own yard, I go nude at play parties too and I have no interest in loosing weight so I might look better to someone else when I am naked.

ahhhhh, but if everyone were allowed to go nude, then it might be a better incentive for those with the ability to lose weight to do so. [;)]

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 10:05:34 PM)

hahaha I am so comfortable running about nude sometimes I have been unaware of it making people in my house uncomfortable and I have actually been asked to put clothing on lol.

I know maybe 3 females that wont get in the hot tub with a bathing suit on!  Come one. Love yourself.

MistressLorelei -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 10:24:19 PM)

In response to no one in particular:

How many comments on this board are made about the adult sites full of penis pictures posted by its members.... and how many of you have been glad that we don't see it here (often) on CM... yet you want to stand behind it in the supermarket?  Ewwww

I think that there is a place for public nudity, but if everyone runs around naked, how do we teach our 'unmentionables' about 'private parts' and predators.  We live in a civilized society... the human body can be beautiful.... so can modesty.  This idea works much better in theory.... try thinking of a cook or waiter handling your food naked... you sure you want the mayo?

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 10:28:02 PM)

Well you wouldn't want naked cooks and servers or in the grocery store no, But If that was somethin you didn't want to see and that particular store or place ok'd it we could always choose not to go somewhere We're not comfortable at.

michaelGA2 -> RE: Public Nudity (6/20/2006 10:28:18 PM)

well, being as though i NEVER want the mayo and go to great lengths to make sure it never touches my food, i can see your point on this, of course, they do post signs in restaurants: "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service". this can still be applied for this venue.

No naked cooks?

What's nicer than waking to the smell of bacon in the pan and the sight of your vegetarian girlfriend naked in front of the stove?

Well okay I know what's nicer, but you get my point.
