In the event that it reappears after a restart (ugh!) try these steps. On the chrome customize and control button, select extensions and look for the annoying "magnifying glass" symbol, disable and delete. Go to the start menu and click on Search. In the search box, type in mystart When you get results, simply right-click on them and delete them all. You may have to refresh, for your own peace of mind to make sure they have all been deleted. Repeat, searching also for: incredibar, and perion You may find a sub-folder named Perion in your program files directory, which contains data.txt and newTab.crx. The newTab.crx is a Google Chrome Browser Extension Archive file, and the data.txt file contains a url pointing to mystart/incredibar. Delete this whole Perion sub-folder structure.
