FelineFae -> Photo Face Off (1/31/2013 6:14:33 PM)

Many people have reasons they can't show their faces or other features unique to theirselves' such as tattoos on certain websites.

This strikes me as a creative challenge.

What other methods could one use besides "cropping off" at the neckline or using a mask ?

Look at my profile. That's just one example of how you can photoshop.

I would replace my face with the faces of my favorite cartoon characters as they make funny facial expressions.

Pull a funny face so that the photo doesn't look
like you[&:]

Not showing a photo at all perhaps?

Use a cartoon doodle of yourself made by a respected local artist at the spur of the moment (be sure to get his permission first).

It gives people a good sense of what you look like without actually showing yourself.

In the event you can't find a local artist to doodle you. there are several free online sites that
will turn your photo into a cartoon. These sites can also change your nose, your hair, and your
eyes. They also have hats you can put on, and, lest anyone start fantasizing about me in a
mustache, that isn't really mine, but another feature offered by these sites.
These samples were all done on PiZap. http://www.pizap.com/

Muffled in a scarf/hat, with a book/magazine/newpaper covering all but the eyes, with a fan in front of the face if female, in sporting gear that includes a face mask (hocky, scuba, etc), in any sort of costume that involves special effects make up or body paint.

I had bo take a pic of my hands while I was playing my Nintendo DS game Pokemon Black 2, lol.

I intended to have him take more...I'll leave that for "someday" though.

Hubby has a mask over his mouth and nose.

OK, Goddammit, it puts the lotion in the basket.   You know the fuckin drill, don't fuck me around here.

I am looking all over my computer for the Photo Face Off button, cuz I wasn't sure I was doing it, or am I the only one?

A book has both the benefit of obscuring an identifying physical feature, but also gives more information as to a person's interests.

i do like pictures of hands, too. i'd take a profile picture of hands at a game remote over a bathroom mirror shot any day of the week.

DS is the exception to the above statement. [:)]

Some show a close-up of one or both eyes - that can be very effective.

littlewonder -> RE: Photo Face Off (2/1/2013 4:09:06 PM)
