Thank you for the thoughts, suggestions & kind words.
As to my transplant: I can only say I have been greatly blessed. Last month was my 5 year Anniversary. While it is indeed a day for me to remember and celebrate the gift I've been given, it is also a day that is bittersweet as well. My donor was a cadaver; a young person of only 18 years old. I am forever grateful to the family who found generosity in the midst of their own grief and tragedy.
Play partners......... Before I met my (ex) Dom, I had some sessions with Dom friends. While fun, exciting ( I was a newbie at the time) they lacked the emotional connection that a relationship brings to the exchange. I'm at a much different place in my life now, and have some "trust issues" to work on (thanks to the ex). I think perhaps the idea of a play pal might be something that could be beneficial at this time. It's definately an idea that's not out of the question at this point.
