Today:
Oh, get the fuck over it, you humorless dickwad.

Notsweet -> RE: Things you just feel like saying but you filter kept you safe from the drama that would ensue: (1/26/2013 10:33:05 AM)

OMG, I hate typos in the damn title. I've lost the ability to type.

Oh, I censure myself all the time here. Will have to come back with examples.

NuevaVida -> RE: Things you just feel like saying but you filter kept you safe from the drama that would ensue: (1/26/2013 10:44:55 AM)

Sometimes thoughts like that come to me, but I filter them - not to avoid drama - but because I don't feel good about myself when I talk to people like that. I try to put positive energy out there, and these things are too negative for me. When I think them, I redirect myself.

But yes, sometimes it presents a challenge.

I censor myself on here a good deal. Often I start typing out a message, only to delete it again, telling myself that it is not worth the hassle and that I am trying to be positive.

Just now however, I succumbed and told somebody what I thought about him.

Mine wasn't here. Mine was face to face.

It happens to me about five times a day....on a good day.
Just needed to know it happens to other people too. :)

[waiting Approval]

[:D]

Here or at least on the net is the place to do it...Why hide your feelings...you feel what you feel and you should always make you feelings known.

I disagree. So often, not using that filter opens up a big ol' can of i don't feel like dealing with this shit and it won't go away. Kind of like when you say, "How you doing?" and they tell you.....

Do you want to vent in a vacuum or do you want two-way communication?

Level -> RE: Things you just feel like saying but you filter kept you safe from the drama that would ensue: (1/26/2013 11:50:54 AM)

It's situational. Sometimes I couldn't care less about filtering what I say, and sometimes I regret it. Sometimes not.

LadyPact -> RE: Things you just feel like saying but you filter kept you safe from the drama that would ensue: (1/26/2013 11:54:26 AM)

Even with as blunt as I am, I do filter what I say most of the time. I don't think I'd be able to stay out of trouble with the uncensored version.

NiceButMeanGirl -> RE: Things you just feel like saying but you filter kept you safe from the drama that would ensue: (1/26/2013 11:54:29 AM)

There have been times I'd have liked to say "Gawd! You're such an ASSHOLE!!!" but I don't because I know direct personal attacks would get me a gold-bordered letter or maybe even "Awaiting Approval," so I just keep it to myself. Also, I don't want to look like a bitch. lol

Inappropriateville was my favorite thread for venting those things.

kdsub -> RE: Things you just feel like saying but you filter kept you safe from the drama that would ensue: (1/26/2013 12:01:01 PM)

If you are giving your opinion you are not obligated to defend it if you so chose. I often just say what I am thinking and let others determine its worth.

I do understand in your private life you may not and sometimes should not say exactly what you are feeling but in the realm of cyberspace the only limitation is your interest.

Again as stated above...just my opinion...[:D]

Ps... there is a difference in saying what you think and how you say it. Otherwise there is no need to call someone an asshole when others words work just as well and are not offensive.

If it's an opinion, I tell it. Except when things are at stake...like dwelling, or job, or general peace.
And you are absolutely right about the difference in saying what you think and how you say it. I just wish I could more often just say what I think. It gets harder as I get older.

As it turns out, there are some folks that need to hear it, but the consequences are too much to bear. So I try to say, "Bless your heart," instead of, "What the hell did you expect, you big, dumb fucking cunt swaddle?"

I would just love a place I could come and type it out without getting in trouble. Maybe I can keep this as that place.

One I did actually use in a fet club a few years ago.

I was single but had gone to the club with several friends. I was standing at the bar when this creepy guy stood up close to me, leaned over and whispered in my ear "I'd love to have those lovely red lips wrapped round my cock".

I slapped his hand off my ass and yelled at him "do you kiss your mother with that dirty mouth?".

It felt good...[:D]

Don't piss me off, the trunk of my car can hold at least three bodies. [:D]
