Florida cops Taser naked burglar who pooped and masturbated when homeowner pulled a gun I don't think I could have shot the guy. At some point, I would have seriously worried about the man's mental health. Holding him at gun point appears to have been a good solution.

I have no idea how I would handle that either. My first inclination would be to shoot on sight, but who knows. It's not usually wise to sit and wait to see how a person behaves, but assume they are there to harm. Having kids in the house, I'm a bit more protective.

It was kind of hard to watch the video in the link. I was laughing too hard! I'm not sure what I would do in this situation. I know what my son would have done though. He would have shot the guy, screaming, "what the fuck is wrong with you, jerking off on my floor!" Admittedly, my son doesn't make great decisions either, lol. The most disturbing thing in the article is that the family stored their gun's in the son's bedroom...

Oh my lands.. In a child's room! Geeez. We have guns and my husband is downright anal about gun safety. They are kept locked in a place our kids can not get to them. I did ask him one time how he planned to get to his gun he has for home safety in time if someone broke in. He showed me in the dark how he got the safe unlocked and the gun out in a matter of seconds. Ok so he can see in the dark. That said I have no clue what I would have done in that situation. I think the he would have resisted shooting him simply so the burglar could clean up his own mess.

I'm sorry, but that shit was funny! I read this thread (and watched the news video) with clip. It was his idea that the guy may have been mixed up with those <cough> bath salts <cough> that are popular with some.

Did not watch it but between Mom and me, the EMTs would have to be called out after we are done with him...2 gun cases filled with rifles. My favorite is the 4-10 and hers is the 30-30.

I wouldn't have shot him after he shit on the floor. It wouldn't have been fair since I would have pissed (and possibly shit, old woman with a back injury after all) all over the floor laughing so hard at the absurdity of the whole thing.

If my kids had been in the house, I'd have shot him. If the kids weren't in the house I'd have been ready to shoot if he posed the remotest threat. I don't mind taking a risk that some meth head might run amok with me in the house, but not my boys.

For all those that say they would of shot him, have you actually shot someone before? shooting someone isn't easy and just because you own a gun doesn't mean you could ever shoot someone with it.
