Status: offline 		I think littlewonder is right. It sounds like it was the shock from the pain brought on a cardiac arrest. I read another article where 2 women are serving time for manslaughter for the same act.

I will not say how I came by this information other than it was during my army days.

During combined operations where the mutual interests of the US and one particular ally, it was not uncommon for team members supplied by said ally to consist of men and women. The women proved quite capable of getting information from individuals and their technique consisted of using a great deal of pressure applied to the balls by the use of their hands.

I was told that at least one of these women had killed a man using the technique, so I do not think a pre existing heart condition is necessary.

Status: offline 		Unfortunately that is one area of male anatomy that does not take much to cause extreme pain. I have often wondered if women have a similar area of vulnerability, not that I would exploit it, just curious if both sexes are equally vulnerable.

Death would be caused from neurogenic shock which would be from the extreme and rapid vascular dilation of a crushed testicle. Not sure if the article covers it.

JLF mentioned torture, and testicle crushing is a form of torture that has been used for a very long time, and does sometimes result in death. I think the Germans during WWII developed some testicle crushers, and likely others have as well.

If someone is teaching dirty in fighting, then the grab and twist of the testicles has likely been taught to them. Some of the female self defense against rape courses from the 80's and 90's taught the grab and twist technique.

It is not torture, it is called "Enhanced Interrogation techniques."

Torture is forbidden under the Geneva convention.

Given that they are the weakest bit of male anatomy it's a huge oxymoron.
