Someone who wants to submit is called a sub. Your question isn't whether he's a sub, because the fact that he's seeking to submit, even in a way you dislike or which you find disingenuous, answers that question.

The question you should be asking is, is he a sub which is suitable to your needs and desires?

I don't think a domme should ever be considered as "good material" when she has prejudice against male sexuality as for having trust issues towards someone based on what's between their legs. Why should I consider a domme to be worthwhile when I am deemed as someone who is guilty until proven innocent simply because I have a penis?

Assuming you are in a real-time relationship, not online or searching for a date, how can you tell if your sub is really wanting to be submissive to you, or if he really just wants his kinky fetishes fulfilled?

I think we tend to be harder on male than female subs when it comes to this. No one gave me a hard time when I stopped cooking and cleaning for M after he stopped fucking me, but aspersions are generally cast upon men who are unhappy when their needs are not met.

When someone engenders submissive feelings in me in bed, this carries out into the rest of the house and I want to cook and clean for him. If we have become roommates, then picking up after him becomes annoying.

I believe relationships should be mutually fulfilling.
