I agree with this but he must have changed it already.

OP - looks like you've made lots of improvements in the last 90 minutes. if I were younger and local to you, I'd be happy to hear from you (after you cleaned up the spelling and grammar.)

Text speak was born out of the Bulletin Board days when dial-up 110 baud (or even 1200 baud if you were lucky) was the norm.
It was often limited to 78 characters, extremely slow, and very expensive.
Every single character sent would cost you money.
Long-hand messages soon got shortened to something almost unreadable.
"if u cn rd ths ur a btr mn thn i" sort of thing became normal chat.
Simple smilies were born in this era too.

Once things like 56K were getting commonplace, mobile/cell phones started having the ability to send text messages as opposed to just being a clock/alarm and a phone.
In those days, pretty much all phones were limited to 160 characters, some were limited to just 120.
Again, very expensive to use if you wanted to say anything sensible.
'Text Speak' as it became known, was adopted from the BBS because anybody into sending/receiving messages kept it short to cut the costs down.

These days, most phones, even cheap basic ones, can handle messages up to 1024 characters and with many pricing policies there are free text packages.
IMO, text speak is no longer 'cool' but very annoying and unnecessary.

Dude. You owe me $100 dollars for this advice. Hands down the most positive response to a profile picture I've ever seen on these boards was a guy standing in a CLEAN, well kept kitchen.

Thank me later LOL

All I can tell you is that when I read that thread I made a mental note. If I'm ever looking for a new slave go take a nice kitchen shot. Then, before posting it go buy 20 cans of Slave-Away at the local hardware store so that I can deal with the excess. In a really serious way I think that translated to the women as "Wow! Some guy who can actually clean a house. He's probably clean himself and there's at least some chance I won't be doing all the housework."

As it is now, coming in late and all, it seems sound and like an actual human wrote it. I'd like for you to get someone to proofread for you, but that is about it. I don't want someone rattling off all the right rhetoric. I want someone who has room to grow and is interesting and relatable. :)

Whatever changes you made, good job.

Overall, I think you have a great profile. It seems genuine to me.
I don't think you'll have a problem here.

That or folding laundry....

I always find a guy that does laundry much more attractive.

i have 100's of pics so...

Obviously I'm not what you're looking for. But if I were, I would find myself deeply concerned about somebody who has hundreds of pictures of himself.

Have you ever noticed how often Kirata just plain nails it?

Actually I wouldn't. As I look at how my sons use their various gadgets what I see is an awful lot of picture taking and swapping. So for me, most of my pics are of Carol because someone had to hold the camera and because I like looking at her. But in my sons' realm they DO have "100's of pictures of themselves" and it's all a normal part of their social circle.

I think you may be making my point here. How old are your sons?

Yeah, my daughter has hundreds of photos of herself but she's 21 and likes to model and also is an amateur photographer. So someone who has hundreds of photos wouldn't bother me. I kinda like people who have lots of photos of themselves. It says to me that they have a good self esteem about themselves, they think they are attractive and probably pretty outgoing and even fun to be around.

As to the op, I like your new photo a lot. You look much much better. You look happy and fun to be with.

Well, I'm not sure whether it's a case of different strokes or whether we're not thinking of the same thing. I mean, what I'm talking about is here's one of me doing this, here's one of me doing that, here's one of me at this place, here's one of me over there, wait I've got more, here's another one of me, me, me, the hero of my life. It's all well and good if they have self-esteem, think they're attractive, and are outgoing and fun to be around. They still strike me as overly preoccupied with themselves, which is normal for young people, teens especially, but at some point it gets weird.
