It doesn't show my house, just the trees. When I typed in my dad's address, it shows the wrong building.

When I did it last night on my own address, it was spot on. I saw my home, my car and the snow as it was actually falling, in real time.

Then, after trying a few old addresses, I found sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I tried the town library's address first. Both they and my address are summer pics.

It's unfortunate they use google maps to make the snowglobe. Those pictures are taken during the day. Though I'd be creeped out about privacy issues if they did it in more of a real tiime basis...it would look MUCH cooler if they got the picture for the globe at night when my Christmas lights are on ;)

Just sayin.

Oh because the map programmed have pictures already taken of your house and that's what they use for the globe.

If that's true, Luci, how could I see a real time snowing pic at the moment, seemingly at the moment it was actually happening? I got the feeling if I looked out my window, I'd have seen my own face on the computer!
