My Grandmother passed away at age 102. We were always very close. She pretty much raised me and my mother was very much a big sister than more of a mother. Today, I am walking through my house. I have been dealing with some financial problems that have hit all at once that I wasn't prepared for. I was on my way to the linen closet to get fresh sheets out and then all of a sudden like a High Definition tv screen grab this image just rushed into my vision and when I say rushed I mean it hit me like a express freight train (Midnight Train to Georgia) Any way, it was an image of me as a little boy screaming and crying over a skinned knee and my grandmother holding me and trying to make it better. If this had been a memory, why wouldn't I have just seen her and not myself and her?

Your grandmother just passed away. You loved her. You miss her, thus you have memories of her and how she took care of you. Nothing psychic about it.

These are the times of the thinning of the veil, and many will see and experience things they might never have before. It is happening to me, and my friends, frequently now, and it is speeding up. By showing you a memory of the two of you so strongly linked to each other in the past, it would make sense to me this was her way of ensuring you would know it was truly her that visited you. She helped and comforted when young and in distress. You are in distress now, so she comes to comfort you. She loves you dearly and wishes to help. I would be warmed, comforted and delighted by such a vision. She has made a great effort to touch you now, as she did then, when you were hurt/frightened. Reach back and touch her. Thank her for extending herself to you, and invite her to do so more often. Consider asking for her guidance in helping you with the matter at hand. It would seem to me that is why she has come to you now. Ask, and give her permission to help you, and thank her for that. Then be still and wait, watch and listen. She will help. Enjoy!

Dusky, thank you for your words. I have often been visited by my mom, grand parents and great grand parents in my dreams. This was the first time it happened while I was awake. After I spent about 15 or 20 minutes dealing with the emotions that came up (Usually I keep those thoughts private) I stopped and thought about it. I could see the steps of the house, the fig tree next to the house, the blood on my knee, Mama's Apron (multi colored apron that she used to wear when cooking) The color of my grandmother's hair. Some how I as the observer was standing over them as if I was watching it. I kept thinking to myself if this is a memory why am I not looking up at her? Why is this from this prescriptive? Some years ago, My grandfather came to me in a dream, He broke a roll a handed me half, He told he loved me and was proud of me. So yes I do know that they are near by

I was very close to my grandparents. When my grandfather died, I was far away in another state. He was in the hospital in a coma. At the moment he died, I was sleeping and had a dream that he was talking to me, hugging me and telling me how much he loved me and good bye. I woke up in a cold sweat and called my mother who told me that at precisely the moment I had my dream, he woke up before he died and said my name. I will never forget that and I treasure that experience forever.

This is becoming more common and easier for both sides to do. I kept thinking to myself if this is a memory why am I not looking up at her? Why is this from this prescriptive? It doesn't matter why. It is not a thinking thing or something to be solved and explained. It just is. It sounds to me you were having something like an astral travel while awake, which is something like remote viewing. MasterJohn, here's another example of how things are changing for some. Early this morning, for the first time, I had a new kind of dream experience. Don't know how it happened, but I dreamt two dreams at the same time. Spent quite some time pondering this upon waking. I like it.

In my opinion, you MJS, in your time of distress, received a communication in dream language from another part of your mind, i.e. from another MJS. He was the distant observer of what distressed you as a child. He now offers solace and says to you "Be comforted. I/We love you". You are an okay guy, MJS.

I understand the term "psychic vision" to be a premonition of something that will happen, related to ESP. So no, I don't think it was a psychic vision. Did you mean to say ghost? I agree with Rule that this was your own brain comforting itself. Regardless, I'd say it is as significant as you think it is. Hope things look up for you soon. Merry Christmas. Pam
