What should I do if I believe I have been scammed by someone who posted an ad here?

Offer 20% more than they're asking.

It'll fuck their brains over.

Yes, I sadly must confess to breaking the cardinal rule and sent money and personal information. Although, I did not send any banking info. From what I have learned from talking to a trainer (which, also could be a scam). An ad I responded to on here was hijacked by someone else. The other individual, who says they can help me reclaim my lost money has stated that it will cost me money to sent up files so that they can track and arrest the other group that I have sent money to.

You do realize that the account was never hijacked, and offering to get your money back for a fee is also a scam, right?

John Varley covers this very well in Golden Globe

Ask for a 25% kickback.
