naughtynick81 -> Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/12/2012 6:34:07 PM)

If being the creator of the anti islam video is punishable in the western world, jihadist loons like this guy shouldn't be allowed in.

http://m.theage.com.au/national/fiery-imam-invited-to-speak-here-20121211-2b7td.html

Not to mention, considering his insane urges, to think about his popularity in the muslim world is disturbing.

Well, I have no idea how free speech or visa rules work in Australia, but if a gathering of Evangelical/Fundamentalist Christians decided to do a convention, would Terry Jones get in?

I doubt it. Most probably because there won't be the burden of racism hysteria placed on Australia. And we wouldn't likely have christians doing violent protests on the streets about it.

Well....we know that your favorite video, both of you, has gotten quite a few Americans killed.......

Has the "fiery" Imam, gotten anyone killed?

You blame this on the creator of a video using freedom of speech instead of the people who are doing these violent actions?

So tell me, let's say a person from another country was ridiculing Australians. If Australians went around hurting and killing people from the same country where this person was ridiculing Australians, whose fault would it be? The Australians who are acting like terrorists?

If a person is doing a violent action that's not in self defense of them being hurt, how the flying fuck can others be blamed for it?

TizzyTara -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/12/2012 8:58:13 PM)

Sadly, this Imam is known for his call to mass Jihad upon all the non-believers i.e those of us who are not Muslims. And if he comes to Australia where the majority of us are non-Muslim then we are letting in a man who wants to commit genocide/mass murder upon Australians and will do everything in his power to stir up our peaceful Islamic community to do so. All it takes is one impressionable young person to here his hate talk .....

naughtynick81 -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/12/2012 9:14:30 PM)

Tizzy, as I said, it's disturbing to see what popularity and social status this guy has in the muslim world. But I won't hold my breath with the left thinking people acknowledging this.

And the people who promote it.

I`d like to take the Imam and all his ilk and all the Islamaphobes and jones and put them on an island.....like Australia.......for example.

How so? Just making a point that you disagree with the beliefs of islam is somehow promoting violence against others?

Crikeys lol. The things the lefties comes up with to justify the terrible things muslims do lol.

TizzyTara -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/13/2012 2:48:30 AM)

What gets me is that there are lots of nice folk who are Australian friendly who would like to visit here yet Gillard and her sidekicks promote the visit of a man who has said outright "I want to kill all non-Muslim Australians". I think Gillard and her lot are just plain stupid.

Video's don't kill people, terrorists kill people.

Edit: Tizzy

Johnny Howard would be shaking his head in disgust.

Have you got a link for this ?

For what its worth, I dont see why this man should be invited to preach hatred anywhere.

Quite agree. We have a few of the sort up here in Norway, and we're doing what we can to curb the problem.

As even the phobic posters agreed, the vast majority are peaceful, so no need to have idiots stirring up a storm.

IWYW,

We could do well with promoting the opposite.

This, Steel, is the same logic that says that the girl who gets raped shouldn't have been dressed in a way that incited her attacker, or that the victims of, gay-bashing should have known to stay the hell away from the Carpenter's Union hall.

Why even engage with such ignorance?

TizzyTara -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/13/2012 9:25:38 PM)

Aswad: I agree here. I mean, the majority of the Islamic folk in our respective countries just want to get on with their lives and the last thing they need is some Muslim extremist landing in their communities preaching hate filled calls to their people to go out and murder non-Muslims.

I sent a email to our Minister of Immigration Chris Bowen in protest. Not much good it will do.

Nick: John Howard must be appalled at the current government's antics.

jlf1961 -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/13/2012 9:32:07 PM)

The problem, as I see it, is that most countries have freedom of speech, and until someone calls for, instigates or other wise aids and abets terrorism they are allowed to go where ever they want to, and say whatever they want to.

TizzyTara -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/14/2012 12:20:00 AM)

Do you think Saudi Arabia or another heavily Islamic country would allow an Australian into their country if that Australian was known to preach hate and violence against Muslims?

naughtynick81 -> RE: Fiery imam invited to speak in Australia (12/14/2012 12:24:21 AM)

Tizzy, well I think not...but they may allow them in just so they can punish them.
