I am going on a trip to Vegas for my sister's 21st birthday. I want to make this an exceptional experience for her and had the idea to give her a surprise at least every morning. We are going to stay for probably 5 nights. I have a few ideas so far:

Morning 1: Ordering breakfast room service for her and stopping the cart before it gets to her room. (Really hoping they have carts to bring it up on, otherwise this idea will not really work) and attach balloons to the cart along with cards, other decorations, and little wrapped presents all over it. So when it is rolled it, it will be a big surprise.

Morning 2: A morning full of balloon surprises. Helium filled balloons on the ceiling with strings hanging down, maybe with positive/complements about her at the end of them or pictures of us from our childhood. Also, filling the closet with regular air filled balloons so when she opens it to get her clothes they all fall out. Plus, filling the bathroom floor with balloons too, etc. ( U really hope she will sleep through getting this all in place)

( I will be in a separate room from her so this allows me the privacy/space to blow the balloons up without her seeing them, ect)

I still have a couple of months to plan ideas, so i am thinking that with the help of others i might also be able to add additional surprises during the day, but for right now, i want to fill each morning with something really fantastic. I hope you all can help!

I would bet that if you are staying in a fairly nice hotel, you could probably ask them to add the decorations before they bring the food up (especially if you tip well) or at the very least give your room a call when it is on the way.

The balloon surprise sounds like great fun, but remember that you might not have a key to her room if you aren't sharing, they usually only give out one, so how will you sneak this stuff in? Also remember if your sis is the typical 21 year old she may be hung over in the mornings... The pictures of your childhood and nice comments is a beautiful idea.

Champagne on the morning of her birthday? Or, I don't know Vegas at all, but is there anywhere particularly impressive you could book for breakfast? Anywhere with a tall tower or something a bit out of the ordinary?

Could you book a special activity? Like indoor skydiving, or race car driving or helicopter rides or whatever she's into, and then make her up a breakfast tray filled with clues that she has to use to guess where you're going.

hmmm I don't know, I will think though, I love this kind of thing.

Thinking along the lines of Athena Surrenders, something like a treasure hunnt which leads to the most special gift or surprise you have plannned for her.

photos or an album (you know those photo books you can make up) woulld be beautiful. You could write memories you have of her and the two of you in the album or have that as another surprise

Go somewhere really tacky like one of the Elvis chapel's and get your photos taken with an Elvis

Somewhere beautiful for dinner where you take in a birthday cake earlier and ask them to bring it out with candles or those sparklers after your meal

Give a camera to one of the waiter's to capture the surprise on her face

What an absolutely beautiful idea, I can't wait to hear how it goes

Geeze its vegas, for a price you can feed her to sigfried & roy!

Depending on what types of things she likes you have venitian (italy), paris, roller coasters on top of sky scrapers, limos, helecopters & an army of people devoted to your happiness...stressing again for a price.

There is always some kind of male review that looooovvvveees just legal. Swimming with dolphins. Happy birthday inside one of the giant aquariums, fancy flower fruit & greetings in sauce on meals. Upgrade to a suite or adjoining rooms where access isn't an issue. Speak to the hotel concierge prior to arrival for help...limo from airport, flowers, just ask...hell helicopter tours go out of airport you fly into, arrange helicopter tour that lands at the hotel

Las Vegas is a place where you can find things you can't find anywhere else as readily.

Why not a "Rambo" afternoon.. rental machine guns at a range? http://thegunstorelasvegas.com/

And for a sister, "Spa Day" in Vegas has so many options.

Take her to the Bellagio Fountains! The show is so breathtaking.

If she likes female dancers, the Paradise Club near Hard Rock Cafe is the best in the land. Chippendale's if she likes muscled men.

I'd also recommend Cirque du Soleil or a comedy show. Vegas always has fun things to do. When in doubt, walk up and down the Strip and you'll find fun stuff to get into.

Take her on a 1/2 day tour of Red Rocks Canyon, which is very close by. Gorgeous.

Also, I think they have jeep tours.
