ORIGINAL: SacredDepravity I have had many physical, mental, emotional, and interpersonal situations result in orgasms that I really wish hadn't. Some REAL rape victims come away with added shame and confusion because an orgasm happened in the middle of one of the worst moments of their lives. At the very physical base, orgasm is nothing but the body's natural response to certain stimuli. Lots of other things can be wrapped up in an orgasm like attraction, emotions, physical comfort, and intimacy, but biology can trump them all. It's nature's way of making sure the species continues. We don't have to like it. I remember a long time ago studying about human reproduction and there being some evidence to suggest that female orgasm significantly improved the likelihood of pregnancy by basically placing the cervix directly in the pooling area for semen. Now, if it was ever disproved I have no idea, but it seems kinda logical I guess and would explain why biology would have this fail safe built in. Then again, it could just be pure horse hockey. I don't know. Regardless though, yes orgasm can be forced and no, it isn't as simple as Hitachi-ing someone to death. It takes just the right stimuli to do the job. And, yes, there is a such thing as too many orgasms. Pain and dehydration are very real possibilities. SD Very few women admit to orgasm through rape but if one understands what happens to a woman's brain during orgasm, then you can understand why a rape victim will sometimes orgasm. Brain scans have shown that during a female orgasm, the cortex linked to consciousness closes down. That doesn't mean we are unconscious as we orgasm but it means we have shut out or deactivated things such as fear and emotions. If a woman can deactivate all of her emotions during rape and she may subconsciously do this as a survival strategy, then she could have an involuntary orgasm.
