I like Greys Anatomy, Private Practice (Last season.. What?!?!), New Girl, Once Upon a Time, and my guilty pleasure is Sister Wives (They're a hot mess).

That's pretty much the only tv I watch now.. although when I'm in a loafing mood.. Law and Order:SVU, Criminal Minds, and NCIS would be my top choices beyond the above.

i'm like LW in that my tv is usually on but i'll have no idea what's actually playing. things don't often hold my attention any more. things i will watch though are;

formula 1
science programs
the big bang theory
and because it follows the above i have gotten into watching two broke girls.
never mind the buzzcocks
8/10 cats
cookery programs (even though some of the cooks are annoying)
i'll watch some spook programs
top gear uk
period dramas
nature programs

I liked the early seasons of Sons of Anarchy, but I've given up on it now. The DVR is set to keep me well stocked with Top Gear episodes, and South Park, for when I plop down on the couch for a bit. Storage Wars is fun, but there isn't anything on the schedule that I'll make a point of sitting down to watch.

I love Storage Wars, and Pawn Stars, even though it's rigged lol.

And two more I forgot - Counting Cars, and Fast n Loud... lots of fine hot rods.

There aren't any shows that I really try to watch religiously unless I'm hooked on a special or series like Boardwalk Empire (which I think tonight is the season finale). But I do like to watch SVU, Blue Bloods, the cooking shows, shows on the Animal Planet and Discovery Channels. And like others here, if there's not music playing, then the TV is on for background noise and I have no idea what is playing.

edited cause I can't spell this morning ...

Great thread, thank you, Level.

I *need* threads like this, since I don't have cable and get most of my viewing through Netflix, which means I'm (almost always) a year behind.

NCIS, Justified, Criminal Minds, Murphy's Law, True Blood, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Fringe (how can you not watch Walter and the cow?) are among our favorites.

We loved House, sorry to see that show go.

I agree, The Wire is some of the best TV I have ever seen. Also superb is Deadwood, and if you're into history, the 2005 series entitled Rome.

We also loved Foyle's War and Larkrise to Candleford, both Brit shows that were canceled, despite high ratings.

We're waiting for Downton Abbey and Sherlock, both of which we could watch on PBS, so we're not behind on those two.

Thanks for the tips on Grey's Anatomy, Lost Girl, Person of Interest, Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters. I'm not sure Himself will watch all of these, but I suspect I'll find a guilty pleasure or two.

Is there anything else I've missed?

You're quite welcome :-)

House was terrific, really well done at times.

Deadwood is one I missed, and I've yet to watch the last couple of seasons of The Wire.

Arrested Development is supposed to be coming back, and I don't mind seeing reruns of Oz, NYPD Blue, or Homicide: Life on the Streets.

Copland is decent, think it starts back soon.

I've been enjoying the Big Bang Theory, and love the Game of Thrones first season. My daughter bought the series, so i was able to watch the whole thing in a matter of weeks. Very cool.

I also enjoy the really bad scifi movies that come on at 8pm on Saturday. They are so bad that they are fun to watch.

Looking forwards to the Christmas Doctor Who, but that's about it at the moment...

The only thing that makes winter bearable, Misfits.
Its the best British sci-fi comedy you probably aren't watching. Find it on Hulu and thank me later. Also, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Boardwalk Empire, The League, American Dad, and Family Guy.

I'm really enjoying Misfits, but the series that's on over here now is definitely not as great as the first one, even though it is very good.

I'm enjoying the new Big Bang Theory that's now on over here, but I think there's a break coming up soon.

The only thing I'm actually looking forwards to on Christmas Day is Doctor Who. Unless they actually show It's A Wonderful Life, of course...

I enjoy Castle.

I watch both versions of NCIS and this year I am enjoying Vegas (one of my cats seems to have a thing for that show), Emily Owens, MD and Scandal as well... oh and Arrow.
I would watch Person of Interest but it is not available online.
Over the summer, I really enjoyed A&E's Longmire.

I don't have cable television, so if I can't see it on netflix, or stream it online I don't usually get to watch it. I haven't felt like I'm deprived of anything. There are some series that I've enjoyed simply because I could watch the whole thing while I was doing a project. Since I spend a lot of time at the sewing machine, having something going is always nice.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned

Being Human both but I prefer the original
Arrow is proving to be interesting and
Person of Interest, is in the #1 spot

I really love the Sunday shows....its my TV watching for the whole week really.

Once Upon a Time
Dexter
Revenge
Homeland
666 Park Avenue.

I still miss Lost - one of the best, if not the best, shows ever. I am hoping Torchwood may be back sometime - I never got into Dr. Who but since this is a spinoff I may check it out.
