Yes, just as you can in many other countries... If you are taking them to a class, to sell, etc. In general, carrying an edged weapon for other purposes falls under a whole range of local laws and ordinances. There is a popular notion that it is legal to conceal a small knife of 3 to 4 inches in blade length, although there are exceptions to even that. In the state of Arkansas, that clause was removed from the state code, making it de facto illegal to carry any blade 'hid'... unless on 'a journey'... a term which has no set definition.
