I've been eating broccoli lately....tasted like shit about 20 years ago....I'm kinda liking it now.

(It goes well with a double Crown).

(Even better with 2 doubles).

(And some cheese).

I LOVE broccoli as well. To the point if we go somewhere that has "sides", I always order it and get funny looks from Mr. "Broccoli is not a side" Odeen.

Wholefoods has this broccoli salad which is basically broccoli, bacon, caramelized red onion with currents & cashews. AMAZING.

So bizarre-- I used to hate broccoli when I was a kid. Now, I can't eat enough of it.

I used to love fish: wanted to eat every fish in the world. Now I only really dig fish and chips and sushi.

Brussel sprouts still suck.

I can't really eat when I'm putting away spirits. The latter takes precedence.

I can only eat broccoli raw... I cut up a bunch and eat it in my salads
I don't really like any of my veggies cooked, something about soft and mushy is just yucky to me. I could never eat lima beans, still won't.

Greens are good, lima are decent, broccoli is Master. Broccoli with cashew sauce, slap me and brand me that's bomb... [:)]
Of course, I saw an episode of Nova where they explained kids hating broccoli had a genetics link. I hated bananas as a kid, and still do, because of their EVIL LINK. [sm=evil.gif]
