i used to fly on jet blue and southwest back and forth to school, and both airlines are pretty great at customer service. us airways is the absolute worst!

At the moment United is the worst. The merger with Continental has royally fucked everything up.

I had five executives miss a meeting Singapore because United's computer system wouldn't allow United agents to check travelers in for the flight.

It was a charming day.

That was pretty awesome. I used to date a SW stew, a little Tennessee girl with that deep south accent. She used to tell me stories about all the "handicapped" people who would act all crippled and helpless, get the preboard so they could get the choice seats, which was fine until the plane landed and they would hop up, grab their luggage out of the racks and charge out the door. And she would go all tent revival all em, screaming over the loudspeaker, "Halleluiah, it's another Southwest miracle healing. Thank ya, Lord,!"

I would rather fly Southwest than any other. One a flight this past summer the flight attendant was quite good as well going through her announcements. She announced that like on any other flight there was to be no smoking inside the cabin, however, if you just had to smoke, the smoking section was on the left and right wing. If you could light 'em there, you were welcome to smoke 'em. She got a round of applause when she finished with her announcements. [:)]

Actually, one of the cool things: Because there is a Sea World in San Diego, we get the Shamu plane once in awhile.

I have never flown Southwest yet but I so want to next time I fly just to have an enjoyable flight for a change.
