My name is Michael, and I'm a dominant living in Hamtramck, Michigan; for those of you who have never heard of Hamtramck, it's a city hidden within the center of Detroit--indeed, early on, it used to be bigger than the Motor City, but as industry grew there, more of Hamtramck got annexed. It's now about two square miles in area, with more ethnicities than most others in the US, and likely the most different native languages spoken, as well. It's also the "most walkable city" in Michigan, which is something of which I take full advantage.
Anyway, enough about the city... I'm somewhat known locally as a dominant, although not as much for being at play parties as munches and discussion groups. I'm more known for my various roles in the creative communities, hosting radio shows, designing, editing, and publishing games and comics, starring in locally-made (PG-rated) movies, and various elements on other dramatic and comedy series. I seem to have a somewhat "elliptical orbit" on CollarMe. I'll spend a few months on, then as business picks up again, I'll be too distracted for the place, almost to the point of forgetting that it's here.
On a practical point, I'm allergic to both cigarettes and dogs... and it seems like both are common enough around here that I sometimes look outside my comfort zones in terms of either age or distance (or both). Also, as both a writer and an editor, I am fairly quick to pick up on errors in spelling, grammar, and capitalization; I will happily help people edit their profiles, but anyone who does not realize that a profile description is the place to put his or her BEST SELF forward is showing that he or she does not care about his or her self-worth (or appearance of said). If someone wants to help me out with a better photograph, I'll happily take them up on that in return.
