Well first off I'm not only looking for a sub/slave via the classifieds.

But on the message boards I wouldn't mind speaking with an experienced dom who can kinda teach me about the lifestyle.

Now when I say teach me I don't mean like me becoming their slave I mean say as one friend giving advice to another.

(I would just like to add the fact not even 30 minuets into the site and already what I'm sure is a scammer trying to contact me. So also would like advice on how to see through scammers.)

Welcome.

There is lots to learn by reading the forums. When I started in the lifestyle I really didn't know what I was supposed to do. I've asked questions here and got some excellent replies and advice. As time went on and I learned to trust my own instincts I continue to come to the forums.

Be polite and respectful in your posts and questions and you'll learn a great deal from the seasoned folks on here.

Welcome. Come and read some threads and get some tips. Start your own threads if you have questions, as long as you are friendly people are happy to help new people out.

As for scammers, they will mostly be pretty obvious. They will target profiles that are new (like yours) or sound desperate/unrealistic and sometimes will just target anyone.

As a general rule, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. If they want you to sign up for another site, send money for any reason at all, seem keen to relocate immediately, have just one picture of an unbelievable gorgeous person (usually 25 or under) or a profile which is all about sex and nothing else, they're probably a scammer.

Thank you all for your wonderful welcomes to the site.

It seems very nice here.

And I guess I'll start my learning by going to some of the various threads, and if I don't learn exactly what I need then, I'll start posting threads.
