To add, yes he is still in the Army drawing Majors' pay. Some claim all of this was to delay the cout-martial longer also try and confuses witnesses, he did not have a beard when he shot up the place.

You do realize in America from the Federal to State to Local we have three branch government and regular, fixed date elections. It can never be one persons "fault". It may be, and there are honorably serving muslims in our armed forces as are other religions, and there are exceptions made for some things, I think they do not want to offend the honorably serving here, and so it is more an issue of: What is the official military policy on muslims and beards? Is it a requirement of their religion? (some are like the hassidic in this respect, and do not cut the corners of their beards) How do we sort out those trying to get over from those who actually hold this belief? Is a nation of Islam guy a real practicing muslim? I think it is a consideration of policy at this point.

I don't think it is possible for anyone to be confused about my opinions on this case. If the new judge is going to get the case moving forward, let's roll. When his guilt is as established in the appropriate court of law as it is in my mind, I suggest the gallows be designed from the beginning to be in 100% compliance with the American's With Disablities Act. To my way of thinking, Major Hasan committed an act of war against his country, when he started shooting. That view is apparently not shared by the people who left, "treason," off the charge sheet. It is what it is. Get this started, and then get it done.
