Claiming that "people are saying" that I'm a guy. I'm inclined to think this is just flame or some dude trying to get me to cam with him. Should I pay any attention to it or chalk it up to idiocy?

I wouldn't even respond at all. Who cares? I also dismiss anyone that is pushy and sends multiple messages with no replies from me. There are all sorts of red flags I look for but don't want to post them here due to trolls.....Don't wanna give them any hints. [:D]

I feel the same way StrapMistress. There's a whiny male Dom in another thread. Wanted feedback about his email contact with a "disrespectful" sub (basically, I'm guessing, feedback of the "you're so right, WhinyDom" variety).

I was going to go through, in detail, where (IMO) he was wrong and "here's what you should be doing"...

...but then I cooled off a bit. Realized that, if a guy doesn't have a clue, he acts certain ways...which show as red flags to those he's in touch with.

I'm not gonna write him a blueprint that lets him SEEM better than he is.

Basically, not just "don't feed the trolls". Don't educate 'em to look like us, either.

Tough balancing that with the whole "...but be helpful to those who ask" thing. I'm still working on that.

One time, a few years ago here, someone sent me a link to a Yahoo BDSM page where a 19 yr old lesbian in TN was using my old photo.

He was very indignant. I just laughed and said, hey, good luck to her. I am flattered that anyone believes my photo to be representative of a 19 year old lesbian from TN.

One of my recent subs contacted me on FL with a very direct, simple explanation, and a no-face photo featuring a really impressive rack (in one of those bras with the infrastructure that uses the nice gel material, like a bicycle seat).

She assured me she wasn't, and went on to ask me a bunch of questions.

I was very impressed with the math skills and software engineering being offered by the schools in Kamchatka, but I replied some more...
