Right there. There it is. "[T]he decisions about security are made by security professionals."

Right there. She said she was responsible, but she also denied it was her fault.

And that is exactly what responsible top people should say. "Someone under me screwed up, but I'm the boss so I take the blame."

Did you expect her to say "I personally decided not to put more guards there, my bad"? If she were really micromanaging like that, she'd be a very poor EO.

The problem is, people are so unused to hearing a politician say sorry, they don't know how to process it. It's got to be either a lie or a personality fault, it couldn't possibly be exactly what it says.

But, she didn't take the blame. That's my point. She said she's responsible, and that is what responsible people say, and do. But, they don't go on to state that the decision wasn't theirs. That's saying that she'll be responsible for someone else's mistake. Honorable? Sure. But, falling on her sward? Hardly. Like I said, some "security professional" will take the hit and those "taking responsibility" will continue on.

Once that plays out, I wonder how Wagoner will feel about that.

Yeh, let's hope she stays in her binder where she belongs.[8|]

Its not like any republican politician has taken blame for anything going on
It takes a woman to take responsibility
But of course every republican man is only NOW the side of a woman, and against the man above her
will wonders ever cease
