Why did they translate Sven Hassell's novels into cockney?

What a fabulous word, duopoly. I've never heard that before, and was pleased to find it is a real word!

I came up with that word back in 1972....had a question that really kinda had 2 answers....ergo, sum.

100% accurate....still.

('Sway it is).

Clever you for coining it them. Was it in the dictionary back then, as well as now?

Lookie, how do you know that you know everything as opposed to something(s)?

Could you also answer the old conundrum of how do you know that you exist with genuine certainty? You have an inventive mind so I'm hoping for an interesting answer! [:)]

I exist (with genuine clarity) because when I have been beside myself (therefore existing twice), and it's happened more than once I should add, I've asked myself "who the fuck are you?" (wherein which I asked myself that question as well, ergo a duopoly in and of itself) and I found myself in the ultimate conundrum....a humanistic Mobius loop.

I'm more inclined to believe that's a doppleganger, and not a duople. There, with your help, I've now coined a word!

Could you tell me how the 10 CFR 830 Subpart A requirements on assessments apply to effectiveness reviews of corrective actions?

That is an excellent question and, as many are unaware, it was due to a slightly Nubian creature who was fair and delightful.

No...that was mine entirely.

(It's a gift, and a curse).

Sometimes I don't know how I do it myself.

Well, a doppleganger is often a misnomer, whereas a duopoly is a conundrum at best.

(I'm here 9 - 5, Pacific).

Yes, I can (and I will happily do so), but you have to submit form number 27-F with a 5% bond declaring at minimum, you won't subjugate the previous assumptions, knowing full well that all previous presumptions were....well...presumptious.

He was off to the left, just as the Channel 4 news reporters arrived.

(And he actually never jumped...he used a surrogate {watch the cameras....there's a microscopic delay, hardly discernible to the naked eye}....and frankly...it didn't sell well...most knew the difference).

Next?

Why did they translate Sven Hassell's novels into cockney?

Because they could and....because cockney accents confuse people, ergo, the mystery survives.

Since you enjoy the high-concept questions how about this puzzle: When a tree falls in a forest with no one around, does it still make a sound?

[IMHO despite what people say, this seems to be a fairly commonsense piece of science so put your pragmatic thinking-cap on.] [:)]

I'll take you one further. if a man says something in the forest and there is no woman around to hear, is he still wrong?[8D]

Here's one: Why 42?

Kana -> RE: Over time, it's become clearer and clearer....I know everything... (10/17/2012 2:27:20 PM)

It's between 41 and 43

Interesting that you ask this specific question because, years back, in 1983, on a trip into the mountains with some very limited audio equipment, I tested this theory, chopped down a tree (with said audio equipment all akimbo, barely 30 yards away from said impact) and....there was nothing on the tape upon inspection.

Now, there have been some who have argued that because I was on mind altering substances for the entire duration and may not have had all my faculties about me, the test was at best, faulty, however....there was no discernible sound on the tape.

I did however, have 37 recorded orgasms with a deaf girl, all of which somehow managed to get recorded on the very same tape.

That one's easy.

(I don't even think I need to answer this one!)

Here's one: Why 42?

Because 41 was already designated by the federal communications act as a primary number and 43 was trademarked by the Japanese in 1967 as an adjunct to all divisible numbers other than 16, 27 and 126.

Hmmm, it is possible the deaf girl climaxes would have drowned out the sound of the the tree falling....

My sense is "no" but that's a difficult one to answer. What I do know is that it definitely is wrong to post such a conundrum on a forum perused by women! [;)]
