I adore camping and general outdoorsiness. I grew up in the country and I just feel more comfortable there.
I also tend to do most of my camping at an awesome clothing-optional campground, so... there's that.

I have seen some funny hard limits before. I love Hilly's example of the slave with housework as a hardlimit. ^_^ I mean, really?

I might consider putting fine dining as a limit myself now too. More mostly as a joke than serious. But I truely do not believe in putting on fancy stuff to go eat.

I personally love dressing up to go out...for anything that calls for it.
I like being all pretty and sexy and feminine.
Sadly at this point in my life I don't have much reason to dress up like that. Even going to the local dungeon the way I like to dress to go out is considered over dressed. The guys are almost all wearing jeans and t-shirts and most of the women are well...nakid LOL.
The trouble with fine dining though is that you're sitting at a table most likely covered by a long table cloth...so no one sees what you're wearing anyway ;(
BUT if the food is really good then it's worth it just for the experience.
Anyone ever also notice that the more expensive a place is the less food they put on your plate? LOL!

p.s. I don't remember what I listed in the check off boxes as my hard limits...not that it matters, no one looks any fuckin way haha!

. I guess I can understand that. You would never ever catch my sisters at a fine dining establishment. Their type of place is a fast food restaurant or a country buffet type of place. You would never see them dressed up in their finest. They would feel completely out of place and not have a single clue on what to do at a fine dining establishment. Some people are just not into something like that and would rather wear jeans and tshirts 24/7 and be able to say "fuck" between every other word. They would never fit in at anything expecting more than that.

Soooo, my eldest sister-in-law is one of your sisters?

Is she married to a truck driver who says "fuck" between every single word he says? LOL

I love fine dining, I love dressing up and going out for a nice dinner and both of us on a romantic date. Master and I have done this several times in the past. But we're also the type that likes to go to classical music events and plays and all that kinda stuff.

I have never seen the "Fine Dining" limit but I always get a kick out of the the people who "live for coffee shops" and then there are those where "bird watching" is a hard limit...ha ha

I'm not sure if bird watching is a hard limit, for me. But, it should be. We have venomous snakes and black widow spiders, out in the woods and marshes. Not going anywhere near them, if I can help it. Swimming anyplace but the pool has become a hard limit, for me, too. The sharks know what they are doing - "just testing to see if we are prey," my big, fat ass! They are snacking. - and they are numerous. Alligators, every elsewhere wet.

I love camping, though to be honest when my friends and I go we end up becoming rather tribal. You know, mud huts, fire, war paint. Whole shebang

If you're gonna do something...

...do it in blue face paint and filthy kilts?

I just saw a profile with Fine Dining as a hard limit... *hahahahaha* Has anyone else seen anything like this on here?

Maybe somebody's terrified that they might end up on Come Dine With Me if there's any pervy television producers about?

Fine Dining is kind of subjective. I had a date tell me that the places I go to regularly were too 'fancy' for him. His idea of a good night out was going to the local VFW and drinking $1 drafts. I don't mind that at all but if he couldn't be open to going to my 'fancy' spots I wouldn't be happy.

That isn't setting the bar very high for "fancy", true enough.

I would have to agree with the 4* hotel for camping. I went camping once with a church group (when I was a kid). I got ate up by skeeters, lol. It was fun to me then but now, hell no. I need an actual bathroom with a hot shower, nice bed, room service....ahhhhhh! The life! lol

Bird watching, I like birds so not a hard limit, lol. And Oside, I can't believe you don't like bowling! When me and my friends bowl we do dances after we strike. Probably look like tard babies but we love it. I think it helps when you go with people like me,lol.

Fine dining is not on my hard limits.

Picking up my socks, however, is.

I have camping as a hard limit. Some people think that's odd.

But, for me camping is a 3 star hotel. I am deathly afraid of being in a tent... it's just too close to being outside for my liking. I like bricks, mortar and doors that lock.

When I slept in a tent at an ashram in upstate New York, reports of a bear in the area did not deter me. I did get some pepper spray due to a creepy guest, however. Never had to use it though.
