50 years ago today, the first James Bond movie was released "Dr. No". It's the longest running movie franchise ever.
Also on this day, The Beatles released their first single "Love Me Do". When their catalog was release on ITunes, over 1.5 million copies sold right away.
So to Bond, James Bond, and The Beatles, Happy 50th birthday!!

Bond hasn't aged as well as the Beatles but its still pretty cool - probably my favourite is the sequel "From Russia with Love" before the franchise became a bit bombastic.
These anniversaries are sort of a reminder that music (and arguably movies) have deteoriated a lot since then. Its as if the human race is somehow smaller or somfing... [&:]
