I agree that some of the Eagles' stuff (especially the soft country rock) is a bit blah (New Kid in Town would be a handy soundtrack for committing murder) but they had good stuff on each album (yeah even "The Long Run"). This rather weird track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h11GolBkh8 by Joe Walsh is impressive for a reason I can't quite make out!

I was listening to some Gram Parsons  & then Chuck Prophet earlier, flicked the tv on & it was an Eagles documentary.

I nearly yacked.

Probably with his characteristic good humour I expect.

But Seriously Folks is a great album which IMO is better than what the Eagles mostly did.
