Aside from my cats, it's the elephant.

Soooooooooooo, pbm, are you an aunt/uncle?

Starbuck09 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 1:08:27 PM)

Oho a difficult one topaz i'm going to cheat a little by saying it's a toss up between a Goshawk, a spermwhale and a platypus. Heads the bird tails the whale and on the freak chance the coin lands on it's edge the platypus.
On that note person below me what's the highest you've ever been?
Edited to add that aeroplane travel does not count i am afraid.

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 1:42:34 PM)

Answering DC - i'm an Aunt.

Answering Starbuck - to the top of the Empire State building.

sooooooooooo ... pbm ... Has it been a nice day today where you are?

SirLost -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 1:49:23 PM)

It was! Even though being by myself, I had a great time chilling outside and drinking malt whiskey.

PBM, are you satisfied with your financial earnings?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 2:11:12 PM)

i'm retired.  i'm doing ok, but it would be nice to have more.  A shared living arrangement would help.

sooooooooooo ... pbm ... Are you keeping your résumé up to date?

dcnovice -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 2:22:58 PM)

Oh, yes.

Sooooooooooo, pbm, what's your favorite museum?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 2:26:16 PM)

The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.

sooooooooooo ... pbm ... Have you ever been to a wax museum?

Starbuck09 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 2:53:41 PM)

Not to a wax museum as such fluffy pet i've been to Madame tussaurds though [I have probably mangled her poor name.] and that was worth a look.
So person below me is there one decision in your life, a crossroads of sorts, where if you had the chance you would have chosen differently?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 3:05:02 PM)

Oh, YES - selling my house and moving to West Virginia.

sooooooooooo ... pbm ... do you like to pop zits?

Starbuck09 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 3:07:59 PM)

I certainly do but not as much as I like picking scabs. [how come you regretted the move if you don't mind me asking fluffy?]

So person below me have you ever truly believed you were about to [rather than eventually] die?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 3:14:35 PM)

Starbuck09 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 3:20:36 PM)

So person below me do you have a hero /ine]?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/3/2009 4:03:21 PM)

dcnovice -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/4/2009 10:51:05 AM)

A few of them.

Sooooooooooo, pbm, what are you reading these days?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/4/2009 12:47:50 PM)

The first novel in a trilogy that i of which i already read the second novel.  It's about a family from 1888 through the end of WW II.  Since i enjoy reading about the 1920's i'll be interested to read how this author portrays that decade in the story.  The Evidence Against Her by  Robb Forman Dew.

sooooooo ... pbm ... do you like to read novels set in a specific period of history?

dcnovice -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/6/2009 6:43:12 AM)

No, I'm fairly era-agnostic.

Sooooooooooo, pbm, what's the best movie you've seen lately?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/6/2009 1:40:46 PM)

i have only seen two or three movies in the last couple of years - didn't like any of them enough to list one here.

sooooooo ... pbm ... have you ever left the theater before the movie ended?  Why?

NightTigress -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/6/2009 1:45:41 PM)

My mother made me leave part way through Monkey Bones because it was too much for her

Soooooooooo ... PBM... have you ever fantasised about being with a famous person of any era?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/6/2009 3:16:46 PM)

i have a fantasy where i help Betsy Ross make the first US flag for General Wahington, where i am the housekeeper for Sherlock Holmes, where i am Miss Marple's sidekick .... and lots more.

soooooooo ... pbm ... Do you have a favorite book in which you would like to be the main character?

dcnovice -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (8/7/2009 9:28:05 PM)

I wouldn't mind being Mildred Lathbury in Barbara Pym's Excellent Women. She's smart, she's funny, and she gets the guy.
