It would depend on the loved one, but something they were not expecting that I knew they really wanted or would really love. I surprised my daughter with kittens this year after telling her repeatedly that there was no way she was going to get a kitten for Christmas. When I walked in the door with them, she didn't believe her sister who screamed out that I had brought home kittens. It was cute. Soooooooooo....pbm, do you like surprises?

Eeee gads, yes -- most notably my maternal grama & I spent a significant chunk of my youth trying to change each other's (very different) minds . . . . . . I've given it up for Lent, tho' . . . . . I'll lend a hand & offer advice to someone seeking to change themselves, but that's about it . . . . . I'm saving up all my changing for me . . .. . . lol Good question, fluffy! It was back in March, sadly it was a going away party for a co-worker getting transferred. But, it was great to hang out with all the guys from work in a more relaxed atmosphere. We just had dinner, did some shots, joked around a lot and had a blast. There was lots of toasts, speeches, applause and cheering for this one amazing guy. i miss the jerk. We also got totally shit-faced. :) Sooooo PBM, what's your favorite mixed drink?
