DemonKia -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 2:06:50 AM)

Oh, Dotar, you might not like what I have to say . ... . . .

& please note before plunging further that I'm a 'good sleeper' . . . . In part because I learned self-hypnosis at age 11 & have used it to good effect precisely to sleep ever since (as needed -- at first a lot, tapering . . . . )

The number one thing that really helps to keep my sleep patterns stable anymore is exercise . . . . If I get 'enough' in a day, alongside my usual excess of mental stimulation, I generally fall right asleep . . . . & if I don't get enough exercise, I get 'physical' restlessness . . . . .

I follow all the usual guidelines, maintain a reasonably consistent bedtime, having wind-down 'rituals', typically sleep for something on the order of 7 1/2 hours, & so on . .. . Oh, except for naps. I do take naps, whenever I feel the need. Sometimes that can push my sleep schedule aside, a bit, but that's more longer naps; I tend to find that naps are most useful in the 20 minute to hour range . ... .

Meditation. That's the other continuing force for helping me to feel rested. If my schedule is really out of whack & I cannot actually get to sleep, I can & do rely on simply meditating / resting for however long . . .. .

My apologies if none of this is helpful; my ex had terrible insomnia, & it tormented him . . . . . He rarely slept more than 4 hours a night . . . .

Hmmm, soooooooo, PBM & / or Dotar, have you ever been evaluated for sleep stuff? Do you have apnea? (Cuz treating the apnea can fix insomnia . . ..)

shivermetimbers -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 5:28:00 AM)

No. As long as I keep my weight down, I sleep quite comfortably.

Soooooo  PBM, I just got off working night shift.  What would you be doing right now if you were me, knowing you don't work again till Tuesday?

dcnovice -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 7:01:17 AM)

Getting ready for Easter.

Soooooooo, pbm, do you celebrate Easter? If so, how?

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 9:40:29 AM)

When I'm not in a relationship (like now) I usually skip it or may just go to church to celebrate.  However, since terrible storms are predicted here tomorrow morning, I'm not planning to leave the house.  If I am in a relationship with someone to whom Easter is meaningful, I have been known to do the whole deal--dying eggs, Easter basket, preparing a big meal, etc.

soooo....pbm.......what is your favorite way to have your eggs prepared?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 10:44:08 AM)

Omelets

soooooooo ... pbm ... do you ever celebrate someone elses traditions?

DotarSojat -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 11:05:13 AM)

No...but I have a growing intrest in neo-pagans.

Soooo...PBM...Other than your S/O, who would you physically want to be below right now?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 12:02:10 PM)

no s/o...hmmm do i have to name names?

sooooooo ... pbm ... Are 60+ year old women too old?

Interesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 12:38:54 PM)

That  is something I wonder about at times.  I am now 51 and tend to look for a woman in her thirties or forties.  However, in the past, I have had lovers and a partner eight and more years older than I.  So logically, for me, a woman 60+ should not be too old.  However, to serve me well, she needs to still be fit and not infirm, as well as being willing & able to adapt to another man.

Sooooooooo, pbm, is a 20-year old woman too young?

DotarSojat -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 1:49:39 PM)

A 20 yrear old woman is barelt out of her teens and emotionally a teen as well. I think women in their 20's would qualify me as a big time perv so I have to say yes. (Sigh) All I can do is look and wish. (Heavy sigh)
When I was in my 20's I was always fascinated by the older woman. Laugh lines and subtle wrinkiles were always sexy as hell to me.

Soooo....PBM... what is your weakness?

DotarSojat -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 1:50:55 PM)

You didn't name a name and is 60 too old for what? [;)]

DotarSojat -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 5:35:10 PM)

Did I send you a picture of me? [:)]

Females all have their own beauty but I like the voluptous type best.

Sooooo....PBM....What is your superpower?

Interesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 6:03:17 PM)

Seriously: my superpower is probably my command voice.  It doesn't come out often (I'm sure not as often as my women would like [;)]) and I've never trained it (never was in the forces or anything).  I have been told about times when it is heard and some of those occasions have been public and I can look back and recall that people certainly jumped to at the time and strangers obeyed without hesitation.

In fantasy, my superpower would be all the positives of being a vampire - extended life, almost indestructible, survive under water etc.

Sooooo, pbm, what superpower would you most want your partner to have?

DemonKia -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/11/2009 7:36:36 PM)

Hmmmm, good question, never thought of that . . ... I'll go with my first impulse -- 2-way telepathy . .. ..

Soooooooooooo, PBM, what superpower would you want to have?

shivermetimbers -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/12/2009 12:02:58 AM)

I guess the ability to be invisible.

Soooo PBM, if you could be invisible for 15 minutes, what would you do?

apologies if this posted twice, the net is acting up

DotarSojat -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/12/2009 4:11:41 AM)

Only 15 minutes?
Maybe some R\T perving of some of my new friends here? [;)]

Sooooo....PBM....What time did you get up this morning?

mugwump -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/12/2009 4:14:14 AM)

5.45, same as most mornings,  thanks to the UMs.....[&:]

sooooo PBM, are you allergic to anything?

vincent63 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/12/2009 5:55:32 AM)

yup....romantic commitment, at least so far, and cayenne pepper

sooooooooooo, PBM, did you buy or were you given your first car?

Interesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/12/2009 6:25:07 AM)

I bought it, for cash, just like I have every car since. That first car was a tiny Fiat with an engine smaller than some lawnmowers around.

Sooooo, pbm, which do you choose: buy with cash because ultimately things are cheaper, or buy on credit because you can get it now?

DotarSojat -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (4/12/2009 6:58:13 AM)

I prefer cash.The only money I have borrowed is for my house.

Soooo...BPM...ever total your car?
