Dnomyar -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/17/2008 8:50:36 AM)

No. It has been sitting on the dresser the last few years. I can tell the time by looking at the sun.

tpbm has a wind up watch.

cravesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/17/2008 5:30:53 PM)

No. Mine doesn't wind up.

Sooooooooo....pbm, when was the last time you cried?

osocurious -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/17/2008 6:06:10 PM)

lol ... just a bit earlier today as a matter of fact.

PBM ... how many steps from your computer to the bathroom [;)]

Dnomyar -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 4:16:13 AM)

Mmmm about 5. Computer room is right next to the bathroom. But seening as I can't pull myself away from the computer I have a bed pan ready.

tpbm is how far away from the fridge and snacks.

cravesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 5:51:00 AM)

Fridge - probably about 50 feet or so. But I keep snacks within close reach.

Sooooooooo...pbm, are you visiting family for Thanksgiving?

Dnomyar -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:30:07 AM)

NO. They are comming to me. We are going down to Detroit and see the Thanksgiving parade first.

tpbm will watch part of a thanksgiving parade on TV.

cravesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:59:39 AM)

Probably not. Unless someone else in the house has it on and I happen to walk through the living room.

Sooooooooooo...pbm, have you ever marched in a parade?

Dnomyar -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 7:02:42 AM)

Used to do the thanskgiving one in Detroit with my sister and sister in laws when Hudsons ran it.

tpbm is cooking what size turkey.

cravesdom -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 7:04:29 AM)

I haven't got it yet, but probably a 15 pounder or so. And a small ham too!

Soooooooooooo...pbm, do you like your mashed potatoes with or without the skins?

Dnomyar -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 8:44:37 AM)

depends on the type of potatoe. not the baking ones. red skin yes.

tpbm has baked potatoes in a fire pit.

sappatoti -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 12:18:49 PM)

Yes I have, if you call a campfire a fire pit.

So, PBM... have you fought off raccoons to keep them from scavenging the potatoes in your campfire/fire pit?

osocurious -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 12:23:07 PM)

not once ... but they have come in the night after I'd turned in to sleep and robbed the marshmellow and chips  [>:]

Soooooo PBM ....
If you could have heard the deathbed confession of one person from history, who would you pick?

sappatoti -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 5:13:25 PM)

This is not an easy question to answer. There are so many historical figures I would have liked to have the opportunity with. But, I would select the elderly housekeeper from the last Romanov Tsar (and it's unfortunate that I cannot remember her name or the name of the book containing her diaries). There are so many questions I have regarding what she knew and how events of the late 1800's played out.

So, PBM... would knowing more about your own family's past change your life as you now live it?

osocurious -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 5:25:19 PM)

*laughing*
only if it turned out that they had been Phenomenally Wealthy  and I was some how to inherit Incredible amounts of EVERY THING GOOD!!!

Sooooooo .....  PBM,
What’s the one toiletry item you could never live without?

sappatoti -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 5:48:12 PM)

Toothpaste.

So, PBM... do you, on occasion, like to listen to old time radio programs, such as those from the CBS Radio Mystery Theater or The Mercury Theater?

osocurious -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:14:29 PM)

Ohhhhh Heck YES!!! ... I HONESTLY LOVE Those!!
>> Death of a Sister
The plot = A recently married woman purchases a portrait at an auction. As luck would have it, it is a painting of her husband's first wife who was killed in a robbery attempt

*laughing*
How could You not love a plot like that ...done in old timey Radio?? [:)]

Soooooooo ... PBM,
Would you be willing to eat a bowl of live crickets for $50,000?

MadAxeman -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:37:17 PM)

Sure, line them up.
soooooooo...PBM
What's the weirdest thing you've done for a bet?

sappatoti -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:40:50 PM)

If the bowl of crickets must sacrifice their lives for a greater cause or a greater good, then I might. However, for them to lose their lives for the selfish purpose of fulfilling my own greed... nope. I cannot do it.

So, PBM... have you ever awakened while tent camping to find a decent amount of snow has fallen during the night?

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:53:20 PM)

No, can't say that I have.

soooo.....pbm......have you ever been ice fishing?

sappatoti -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (11/18/2008 6:59:44 PM)

I have attempted but never actually caught anything (other than being chilled for not dressing appropriately one time).

So, PBM... have you been caught in a white-out while hiking?
