Well, there have been a couple.  This year, it was the freaking fruitcake.  In a prior year, an ex-boyfriend bought Me a sweater two sizes too large, which I didn't like anyway.  He told Me he selected the wrong size because of the sales clerk's advice, which infuriated Me because I felt he must have told the clerk I was horrendously huge if she advised him to buy that size.  I went to the store and exchanged it, fuming the whole time, and admonished him to never, ever, ever buy Me clothing as a gift again.
 
soooo.....pbm.......if you don't like a gift, do you keep your mouth shut and pretend to like it, or let the person know you didn't care for it?

Depends if the person bought a gift I wouldn’t like on purpose. If someone bought me a big steaming pile of cow shit I would have a few choice words to say. For the most part I just like it when people are nice enough to get me anything so I am never upset and I find a use for most things I get.

I've never needed an excuse for making out as you put it, so no.

Why only change your ways once a year? There should be no reason not to change a bad habit at anytime. Each month starts with the 1st and each day starts at 0:00. So the short answer is no.

Soooo person beneath me did you watch an old computer on New Years Eve 1999 to see if it exploded. Mine just went back to 1987 how disappointing.
