I just watched "Fetishes" (1996)

From start to finish the director (and narrator) seems to think we are just a bunch of freaks. It's absolutely one-sided.

I do not recommend it for kinksters who have an ounce of self-respect and are actually happy with who they are.

Well then I don't recommend watching the movie.

I watched it because, well, I watch just about everything. It's written and directed like you're watching insects in a dirt mound. There's no interest in understanding fetish, merely watching things through a magnifying glass.

I watched half of it on hulu last night and in my oppinion it seems interesting I didn't notice any biased comments it was mainly just him observing and the Dominatrix's talking. Though there was that one seen when a secretary had to stop him from going into a room because the people waiting hadn't agreed to anything. It wasn't so much about the life style as it was about pro domme's and their clients. I tell ya 96 was a whole other world lol.

I watched all of it, rather enjoyed it, and was glad it was free hulu. [8D] Imo, some of the dommes were a bit messed-up in their personal lives (a bad trait in a dominant) but...everybody needs to make a living.
