For someone to appear in the "who's viewing me" page, does that require them to view my full profile or simply say because I happened to be the first one on the list of search results when someone else searched for something?

they need to view your full profile.

They have to actually view your profile, not the highlight.

Whenever I get a generic message from someone who says he loved my profile but does not mention anything specific, I always check to see if he's viewed me, and invariably, he has not.

It's not actually accurate to say that someone didn't look at your profile simply because they didn't show up in your "Who's viewing me" list. I often perv people's profiles, particularly if someone new writes an interesting or thought provoking post. I try to learn a bit about the newbie, so I'll take a look at their profile, but i make sure that I don't appear in their "who's viewing me" list.

Yes, I do this too, when perving for the same reasons.

However, I expect a man who is interested in meeting me to view my full profile.

Side note - if one views pictures alone, does one show up in "Who's viewing me?"

And can one report pictures without showing up in "Who's viewing me?"

Your profile is set up so you don't meet.  I have perved it.

I've often wondered this same thing. Because I wasn't sure of the answer, I usually avoid hitting the "View Pictures" button. Like I said, I don't like appearing in anyone's "who's viewing me" list.

they should be able to get rid of the who's using me to get people that you don't like in 1 click instead of having to click of all of them individually

Actually, it would be easier to program in an option to set how many you see (See only last 10, 20, 30 visitors) and generate less human errors (and complaints). Yanno people are going to click the Empty List option and then demand an "Undo". Easier to let them select how many they view!

You will show up in your own who's viewing me list if you go look at your own profile. If you have questions about what will make you show up in soomeones perve list, try it on your own profile, and see when you do and don't show up.

I'm wondering whether to message someone who has perved my profile twice in the last few days :) Probably not, that will most likely come across as 'another married guy is being creepy again, make him stop'.

Unless her profile says no married guys, sure, why not? Especially since she's viewed more than once.

I read your profile - good for you for discussing this with your wife and not attempting to do it behind her back.

I get a lot of those too. "I love your profile! In your pictures you are so beautiful! Maybe we can chat and meet sometime soon!" I will respond with, "Obviously you didn't look at my profile because there are not pictures of me and I'm owned and not available... but thanks anyway." I usually don't get a return reply which is just fine with me.
