I actually found the end result to be beautiful, but the process freaks me out.

Nice work.

Thanks for sharing, and for the warning.

Kind of makes me wish my skin had predictable, even scarring. Would have been nice to carry a DOLK piece in that format, for instance. (Here's a piece from prison by this local street artist.) Unfortunately, I'm even going to have to lay down test dots to see if I can get my tats.

The pics in the OP I was good with (GORGEOUS WORK!!!) until the skin leavings.. that kinda squicked me (and cracklins are definitely off my munchie list for a while...)

I can't say I've had the pleasure. I did live in CA for over a year and a half, but I didn't get to nearly as many events, meet as many people, etc as I would have liked.
