According to the Real Clear Politics average of polls, Obama leads by 10 points in New Mexico,
CNN has NM leaning Obama if you use the map without clicking on it
I dunno where you are getting your info from but its wrong as usual

I might add that most sources (I better add the caveat "that aren't bought off "), generally reflect those findings.

I find it interesting that Obama leads in New Mexico by 10 points, and it's 'leaning'. I've seen figures on other states that are equally impressive, and are still 'leaning'. It makes one wonder what a more realistic delegate count - say everything beyond the statistical variant - would show?

GOP Campaign Pulling Staffers
By James Monteleone / Politics Notebook on Fri, Sep 21, 2012

Three key Republican National Committee staffers in New Mexico working to elect Mitt Romney are being moved to other states where the national party believes Romney has better odds of winning....

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^What forms of English dont you get from your links?

Which of them works for Romney Chum? Now Owner claims Mitt gave up in NM, my links show they didn't close any offices, and transferred only three people... NONE of which worked for Romney, ALL of them worked for the GOP... Need to find yourself some new reading glasses Chum.

Obama has only to win about 40 some cities and he will be re-elected.
Has nothing to do with the 'popular' vote.

I know many people that are voting for him as they so not want to lose their "checks".

Never mind they are in economic slavery to those checks and can not make a decent living if they wanted to, they want the checks without working.

What I can not figure out is why anyone would wan to be labled completely worthless with nothing to offer. Basically that is the deterimination to get the "check". The goverment has determined you can not support yourself, have nothing to offer society, and it is cheaper to send you a check every month for you to "fend for yourself" than it is to "warehouse' you somewhere.

Once they run out of money (and that is just over the horizon as we are so far in debt now after the last 3 yeas) the decison might be made to "liquidate" these "burdens" on societ (the check recipients). The Social Security Administration has alread taken posession of their third large supply of killing bullets.
Makes one think about the benevolent government.

But it will be done like Hitler's "crystal night" and it will be "billed" as a measure to "make the country more secure" or something like that.
If one objects, they will "disappear in the night" also.

Welcome to the soicalist world we thought we fought against in WWII.

But I am not concerned about Romney giving up on New Mexico, Obama has "given up" all all places in the country outside of these 40 some cities. If he can win those cities he will have the electorial votes to win the presidency, the rest of us be damned.

Bank it, he is done in Ohio. No way, no how.

Don't worry you guys, we're going to have the real poll in November.

Hopefully they'll be gentle when they take the pole out.
But just in case. You might want to find something to bite down on.

Mitt probably should be ceding New Mexico. There's virtually zero chance that it provides the clinching vote to either candidate. In other words, if Romney wins it, he'll already have pulled 270 from other states, and NM will just be extra icing. The only real reason to compete for the state is to force Obama to spread his resources defending it, or to help downballot candidates. And at this point, even Rasmussen's latest poll of New Mexico, albeit pre-conventions, came up Obama +14. The only way to reasonably argue that it's "lean" and not "safe" Obama is to say that there's been so few polls since the conventions - only one conducted since the DNC ended (YouGov, Obama +8).

Typical Pawnstar, didn't read the OP, types up a kneejerk reactionary response, and when shown how he completely missed the topic of the thread, responds again with a straw argument, and lame ass insult.

Party on Chum.

Never claimed they packed up and left,lol..............but that they gave up there.......ie. pulled out the combat troops....including Mitt`s "Hispanic outreach " guy......   They are giving up the fight.......in NM.

To be fair ....you are correct sir.........there is someone there at the office(prolly rented through Nov.) to answer the phone......a volunteer or two......
