After 8 years on Collarme, it is time for me to say good bye.

I am not leaving CM because there is anything wrong with the site. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have made a lot of friends, both cyber and in real life. But I have been awarded an opportunity I cannot pass up.

A friend told me once I deserve the whole ”Maryann”. I took it to mean wife, Domme, lover and a monogamous relationship, marriage and the joy of exploring life together with someone special. I was married once and had that and I am forever grateful for her. Sadly she passed away from cancer in 2004. My search for a Domme was not to find a replacement wife. I do not think the “Maryann” for me exists for me. It was to find a person who had the same passions as I do. If it led to marriage great, but if not I would have been happy with a dedicated play partner and friend.

Others have told me I should be more open minded and open my mind to other possibilities. Turning 50 this past year I think opened my mind some. The realization that time is running out for me. After 7 years of searching I was no closer to my goal. I needed to change something but not really sure what to change.

Over the past 2 years I have made friends with a Domme in Germany. I met her while buying latex at store in Koln. Her name is Lady Saskia. She is a wonderful woman. She and I have many similar passions. We are both latex lovers. She is well educated and it is so nice to be able converse about many topics from BDSM to just the normal events of the day. We both enjoy long play sessions.

This past July/August/September I spent 8 weeks in Germany for work. I brought some of my more unique latex bondage gear over as Lady Saskia was interested in several of the outfits I had. We met several times for dinner and discussed plans for a play date. After weeks of planning and work getting in the way we finally played. All I can say is it was a very long 24 hours . After the session was over and I had recovered from the play she formally asked me to be her alpha sub. Work had been asking me to take an assignment in Germany for a while now. Her offer the was the tipping point for me and maybe a sign from the man above? While I was very supprised at her offer I gladly accepted her gracious offer.

When I set out to find a Domme this was not what I had imagined. But I am at a point where I truly think this is a perfect fit for me. Lady Saskia runs a successful Dungeon and has done so for the past 14+ years (yes she is a ProDomme and she is the head mistress). I have a passion for building custom bondage furniture and I am very good at it. I love to repair, fix and restore things. She has a very nice 400m2 (4300ft2) dungeon. We both love latex. And we both have passion for the more extreme side of things.

For the first time in a very long time this feels right. I am not being asked for any money or to contribute to the Dungeon other than the agreement of me building furniture and repairing things which I love to do anyways. She is providing me a place to live rent free. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and it feels very good!

Why am I telling you all this? First off I want to thank all my friends on CM. I did not want to disappear without telling people why and where I have gone. The reality of having a full time job during the day and having a large dungeon to keep up will consume my time and I do not see myself being online much anymore. Being on CM was a way for me to meet and talk with others in the lifestyle. Now I get to live that in person versus the computer. It will be a nice change for me

In late November / early December I will move to Germany. If things go well with Lady Saskia, I will join my dungeon equipment with hers. This will get interesting for the moving company.
