Greetings

I have been told I resemble a Dam troll, so I wanted to start a fun little thread about toys and people who resemble them, so do you look like a toy? Then show a picture of it, and again this thread is just for fun and giggels, and to show some pride in being strange. :P

I have my doubts about this thread. I am rather concerned for you, Nephandi: you are showing vulnerability and thereby making yourself vulnerable. I think that it may be in your best interest - provided that you agree - if a Mod pulled this thread.

Thank you for your concern Rule that is very kind of you, but I would not post this thread if I had a problem with how I look. I like being different. Hell I am the fat girl who both have pictures of myself in a bathing suit and raving stark naked on my Facebook. Vulnerable, perhaps are not we all, but to me I rather see it as being strong to accept oneself as one is, and I would like to see if anyone else do the same. Like I have said before I look like a real Scandinavian troll, there is worse things to resemble. But again thank you for you concern, you are most sweet.

That is sweet of you to say. But are you sure, I like trolls. :D In fact the sweetest compliment I have ever gotten was someone who told me I looked a bit like Stargate Atlantis Wraith Queen. My idea of beauty may be a bit strange.

Nobody knows what genuine trolls look like. In all folklore that I know, I have found only two stories with reliable clues.

When my hair was long, many drunk women told me I was a dead ringer for nicholas cage. I find this to be completely false. I haven't had my hair long since I was in high school so I won't be able to treat you to a pic.

You too, subkarih? I have lived in five states in 56 years, and have literally heard the same thing about me probably 2,000 times! People swear they've seen an exact copy of me, or I look just like someone's aunt, neice, wife, friend, sister. What frustrates the pants off of me is, how is it with all these duplicates of me running around out there, I have yet to run into me? I think that would be a hoot.

Don't think I look like any kind of toy, though.

Dear Nephandi, when I first saw the photo you've placed in the OP, the first thing I thought of was Christina Ricci the actress. I do see the other comparison but not as much as what I first saw.

You are a lovely woman, inner and exteriour.

I have no idea what I resemble....some mornings it very likely would be one of the Pirates of the Caribbean action figures....the ones that have sea animal bits all over them.

When I saw the scroll, LaT, I thought it was another poster, and I was prepared to ignore it. Happily, I didn't, because I can totally relate to the feeling that 'sea animal' thing.

(although, when I see your pic, LaT, sea animals are the LAST thing I think of...)
