It's just you. When you say 'on this site', are referring to the profile site, Collarme, or the forums site, Collarchat? This is Coolarchat, and while there are some blowhards and tinfoil hat wearing loonies, the folks are a good lot.

Hang out in the forums. Get to know people. Get to know local people too... go to lifestyle events. attend a munch, a coffee, or a slosh. Don't dedicate all your time to looking for the one for you. Look for some friends. That's how you eventually find the one for you - or just someone to play with, whichever your looking for. By getting to know some people and making friends. I always ask Doms who write me if they are acctive in local lifestyle. Not being active doesn't make you 'fake', being active doesn't make you guarenteed safe - but knowing a few local people is a good sign, in my opinion.

Yeah, quite a few of the people on "the other side" are just engaging in some fantasy thing looking for some sexy conversations to masturbate to. And then some of them are scammers, and some are trolls, and some are genuinely interested but clueless, and some are genuine but just not at all compatible with you. That's the trouble with online dating, I guess. It can be a great way to meet people, and there really are some good people here, but there's also room for all kinds of crazy bullshit.
