Well, when a VP of the party stands up and in the speech to the RNC tells them they are racist, and an icon of the party retells that in his biography...........maybe there is some truth to it.

But for a member of the press to be physically assaulted in any manner on behalf of a political party at their national convention is as low as I have seen it to date.

There is also some racism at msnbc and nbc. They aired the speeches of whites at the convention, but refused to air the speeches of Blacks and other ethnic minorities.

Hearing about this some how doesnt suprise me in the least. In fact, hearing a story like this seems almost....expected....given the subject matter itself. Republicans being racists? Come on, when are they NOT being 'A Party of Bigots'? The surpising part (the real news worthy part) was the offenders were thrown out of the convention.

Wow. Ok.. .lets back this up a bit. A few Republicans.. and we all must admit they are registered Republicans because they would not have been inside otherwise... act in a very crude, cruel manner for whatever reason they desire. But we need to stop calling the whole party racist. I looked into servant's claim.. and he seems to be correct. I prefer C-Span myself for things such as this. There is also Fox and CNN for coverage. No one is locked down into MSNBC. Coming back to MSNBC. They didnt cover all the speeches. And? I seem to recall many here saying how Fox didnt need to cover anything they didnt want too. Well, now those same one's are jumping on MSNBC... or will be. Its simple.. if you dont like the coverage.. change the channel.

ABC cut out a lot of santorums speech, and Cruzes... talking to Gibbs( yeah Obamas ex-press person), Cantor and a latino woman I didnt get the name of. Im sure someone can find a problem there if they look hard enough. Im glad to see that they accepted that the attendees actions were deplorable.

This absolutely amazes me. How could anyone be stupid enough to do something like this to the media? Romney's having a tough enough time as it is - this ain't gonna make getting out his message any easier. He needs to get a grip on his party before all hell breaks loose.

Now that I agree with, DS. However, we have no idea who the actual people were. If it turns out to be someone in the upper echelon, then yes, his party will soon implode.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned that the convention security threw the two people out, and the GOP already released statements saying that the behaviour was unacceptable?
