ORIGINAL: LadyPact For those who were following My NE3 travels, I've mentioned that we stayed at the home of a fellow kinkster. I never got to meet this gal in person. Her roommate was our host. During that trip, much to My disappointment, I lost the ring that MP gave Me for our tenth anniversary. Now, I'm not one who has to be bought shinny things, but this one was kind of important to Me. It was two hearts joined together with our birthstones and inscribed with our names. It was kind of loose on My finger, but I had worn it anyway. Somewhere, it had slipped off. The home owner wrote Me a message tonight saying, "guess what I found?" Yes. Two months later. Yes. Even though she didn't have to. It's very rare that the goodness of a person's heart surprises Me, but she did. well done her, however..... Mr Pessimist says.... is this what kinksters are reduced to? Cheering an act that is clearly the right thing to do? Having found the ring, what was this person going to do with it? wear it? take it to a pawn shop? throw it in the bin? No, of course they were going to return it. It is the right thing to do, it is the only thing to do. It is rather sad that the OP thinks it's "very rare" for this kind of thing to happen. Is it that rare for people to give a shit about other peoples treasured possesions? I hope not
