I thought the topic was all about fun with images? They didn't take my sense of humor away when I became staff.

There was no insult intended in the image I posted, I thought the person that uses images to convey their ideas would find humorous irony in it. My apologies.

Bloody hell, I missed it

Wasn't much to miss. I posted something funny, most found it funny, someone put a ticket in that it was a personal attack, so I pulled the funny post. Just goes to show how different people can interpret things differently, depending on perspective. I guess it just proves that even TOS and Guideline stuff is not always black and white.

I wonder if the mods would let me use this as a caring reply to certain posters?

I think that reporting something just because you are a douchecanoe should be against TOS, and, rather than the reported post being pulled, the reporter should be banned.

One day, when I am queen or CollarMe, it shall be so!!

The person did message me afterwards and say they entered it as a joke. The problem is that a ticket, an official channel of complaint, was used. This was messaged to me after I had gone through all the extra work of pulling the ticket and doing what we do when a ticket is filed. I also had to contact Alpha and let her know what happened, since a complaint was filed against staff. I am sure it was a good laugh, but wasting my time and upsetting the forum is not much of a joke to me. I did not find it funny.

I don't believe they meant it to be that bad.

Remember my posting of a coupla weeks ago Gamma.

"Just because a ticket is made doesn't mean there is a TOS violation. Sometimes it means the complainer is just a whiny little bitch."

It looks like you got "Whiny little bitched" unfortunately and he (or she) realized the oopsie moment and tried to backpedal out by saying it was just a joke.

This is not an official statement for CollarMe or CollarChat

If I start trying to guess the intent of posts, then we really get into grey areas. I pulled my post based on the same criteria that is used for a members post. The less grey areas, the less members will complain about post "X" and post "Y" not be handled the same, which was the complaint many people had before this latest wave of complaints that seem to center around a few members, which is the off topic pulls (though nothing changed except the members that got hit with the pulls).

There are many, many tickets entered that do not meet the criteria for a violation, though the ones entering the tickets feel they should, so I do not always pull just because a ticket was entered.

I know this sounds harsh but it may be needed.

If someone sends you sayyyyy 20 tickets in a fairly short time and NONE of them are legit, can you send him (or her) a message back saying something like "Grow the fuck up and quit being a whiny bitch"?

It might be 'unprofessional' but I bet it would work LOL.
