All I have to say is, thank goodness we women have somebody like Donald Trump to explain things to us. I mean, I couldn't possibly know what is going in the world at all, being a mere woman. I've only done a solo act in raising 2 well-adjusted, respectful, law-abiding children, bought and paid for my own home and work full time despite a disability. I study issues that affect me and those that I care about and come to what (I believe to be) informed decisions. Silly me. As a mere woman, of course I need "the Donald" to explain it all to me. Of course, now that I know better, I'll vote for Romney. NOT!!

FR Having listened to the audio, I honestly think HuffPo is being a bit unfair to the Donald. He started out talking about people in general. It was the interviewer who brought up women, whereupon Trump pretty much reiterated his general points (as people often do when they don't know how to address an interview question). At least to my ear, he never said that women, specifically as women, didn't get it. I also think he made a good point about jobs being more important than a popularity contest this time round.

Yes, jobs are more important. They have been important for the past 4 years. And the republican Congress has put up roadblocks to every attempt to make the economy and the job outlook better. So what is it that people in general and women in particular does Trump think people don't get?
