Has anyone seen Romney explain his connection to Planned Parenthood yet? (Full Version)

My understanding is that his business is helping dispose of aborted babies, and that he's not releasing his tax returns b/c they're the smoking gun connecting them.

This seems a whole lot like the birth certificate thing with one big question. The IRS keeps great records. With a legal need they can check back. This is what got Al Capone. In all honesty, do you think that if Romney had something illegal in his tax records that our IRS audit team would not be going over his history with a fine tooth comb and going after him over any tiny discrepancy? The question has been out there for a while, and Romney has not been led off in handcuffs. Get real, this is another birther trap. Pay attention to what happens below the fold (all the other news) when this takes up headlne space.

I think the reason those left of center wish to see them is to find our WHERE his income came from and how much of it was subject to loopholes in the tax code. There are a lot of rumors floating around including the one that Fargle mentioned.

I don't think he did anything illegal either, but it is about what he did with his money, what he supported and the one rumor that he gave more money to the Mormon Church, than he paid in taxes to the USA....it leaves the question.... What is he afraid of....just like his tax plan...he will not release it until after he is elected, because he does not want people criticizing it and using it against him and why he required "several years" of tax returns in vetting the VP and refusing to release several himself........

From what I've seen, most Republicans will accept any horseshit lie, other than accept that a black man can legitimately hold office of President of the United States.

They tell as many lies as they can and hope people will be to stupid to look it up. And if you watch some of the responses on the board you will see that it works. Note: that goes for both sides of the fence.

Actually President Obama gave his tax return records for a ten year period before becoming President of the USA. His competitor at the time, Sen. John McCain did the same thing. So did former presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush (Sr.), Clinton, and Bush (Jr.). In fact their direct competition did that as well. So it seems to be a custom in America of those running for the White House to be 'up front' with the American people. In fact, if they are not corrupted or crimminal, it usually serves to show how honest they are (or as honest as any of us would believe the canidate we are NOT voting into office). President Obama has given his last three tax returns while he's been in office. That would mean that President Obama has given six times the tax returns that Mr. Romney has shown. The problem is a 'gaff' Mr. Romney made in one interview in which it was asked if he actually paid taxes in every year since 'retro-actively' retiring from Bain. To which he could not recall. Most people that make money in a ten year period....PAY TAXES....to the IRS. We all bitch about it collectively. If this guy is not sure if he paid taxes, that is the creation of doubt. Recall President Obama has NEVER questioned where he was born, yet, the birthers attack him. Has that stopped conservatives (in the nation or on this forum) from attacking him? So when I see conservatives bitching about others attacking Mr. Romney for not showing his IRS forms, I get a smile.
