I have seen a few subs on here tell everyone what they wanted and I understand that but to cuss us out and then say I am a sub ????? I asked a newbie the other day if she had an age limit since she was looking for a daddy . She deleted her profile . OK guess that answers that question

Right... I'll be honest, I'm getting a strong sense that the dom in question might be a jackass. But, I really don't know enough about your situation to be sure.

The only really reliable way to find out if someone is right for you is to meet them. But I'd really generally recommend that you make an initial meeting very vanilla and straight-forward. Now, you can always decide during the meeting that you both want to get frisky.

If you're not comfy going to a meeting with no bra or pants... then say "No, I'm not comfortable doing that. I want to meet you in a safe, equal setting before I get down and dirty".

If you are comfy, and you're not getting any alarm bells, then go for it.

If there are alarm bells, listen to them - they are your friend.

The very definition of an "Approach avoidance situation".

Forget the "Dom" and "sub" labels with which we deal. There are a huge number of people that have no clue how to write a profile (or a CV, for that matter).

Back in the 70s or so, if people had a typewriter in their home, they were probably engaged in some form of structured writing (be it for college classes or trying to write the next great American novel or they worked for a newspaper, etc.).

Now, almost everyone has a keyboard in their home. It's attached to their computer and they just log on and start spewing whatever comes to mind.

The very idea of an entire first line of a profile being in all capital letters sends me on to the next profile.

So many of these people (I feel) could be helped with a friendly, gentle nudge in the right direction. It's the few that respond with venom and hatred that put us off from doing so.
