PS::  If there are already threads on this, I would not be offended if someone posted the links to them

thanks.

I don't do interrogation as a form of role playing scene per se' but if I think the girl has not been as forthcoming as I'd like, I have a specific method of interrogating her.

Basically, I'll have her kneeling naked and upright in the centre of the largest available room (so there's absolutely nowhere for her to "hide"), hands behind her head with fingers interlocked, chest pushed out and her eyes locked on mine.  I'll either be pacing around, hovering over her or comfortably seated on my favoured bar stool with my own face virtually straight above hers and I'll simply grill her with what is I want to know.  Even if it's resolved fairly quickly, I'll still draw it out to accentuate her maximum discomfort for bringing this on to begin with.  Mind you, I still smile about it after because it is a powerful dynamic, but I don't play at it or contrive circumstances to bring it on.

Focus.

That sounds more like my speed than the other stuff I read. lol.

Really its very interesting to me, but Im not sure Im wired for it.  I think Id be too panicky and it would be confusing in a way that would cause me an internal conflict.  Trying to keep in mind that its play, but trying to make it feel like its not.  And the extremes are scary.  I have heard some (not on Lokis thread) but in other bdsm communities even speak of breaking bones during these things.  To me, it really comes down to a challenge between dom and sub.  Dom wants to get you to safeword (I think) and sub says 'no way', Im not crying uncle.   I dont know, I have no experience in it, thats why I wanted others input. I wonder how many have experienced this and what directions their particular scene took on.

Loki's stuff sounds nice, but for *months*????  geesh.  How would I get my nails done???

becca333 -> RE: Interogation scenes. (6/10/2006 12:48:29 AM)

This is a wonderful fantasy scene for me - and thanks for the ref to the other thread, that was a real wild ride too.

I hope you have a great time with it.  And if you want to share the details, just as an act of kindness, feel free!

Dustyn -> RE: Interogation scenes. (6/10/2006 3:51:10 AM)

Done a handful of these over the years, most recently a Nazi-style interrogation.  Have another one planned for later in the summer, hopefully lasting most of a weekend.  They are definately 'fun', but then again, I'm all about creating the mind fuck, so that probably has something to with it.  All the one in 'charge' needs to be able to do is create the scene for the person mentally and not break the continuity of it.  Not overly difficult, but then again, I'm a role player from way back and do a large number of LARPs, which forces me to crate a character and stay in that role for hours on end...

BrattyBottomRN -> RE: Interogation scenes. (6/10/2006 4:28:01 AM)

Hmmm... that sounds fantastic.  I love mind play, and I love role playing.

Someone I play with makes me kneel on dry rice while we do this.

Dustyn -> RE: Interogation scenes. (6/10/2006 6:21:39 AM)

Dry ice? That's really not all that safe...

And I agree, mind play is absolutely awesome, but from now on, I'm mking sure the other person is not unhinged... LOL

Go back and read history of the Spanish Inquisition.

Other than getting ideas from medeval torture, buy a TENS Unit and a Bug Zapper. Also, run your knives and pincher tongs under some water followed by freezing them. There's nothing like cold play to give someone a little shiver.

The previous poster wrote "dry rice."

Wishful thinking on your part????????????????

Slipstreme -> RE: Interogation scenes. (6/10/2006 11:08:50 AM)

I love the idea of interrogation, from both sides really (although as a Bottom I'm more interested in the "torture" aspect of it rather than the demanding and queationing). They were always the scenes in movies and TV that I paid most attention to, that whole "good cop, bad cop" thing. I've also thought about adding unifromed play to it, and perhaps some CP when the crime is divulged. It would require a lot of planning to  set the scene and mood, and it would seem it would definately require some form of roleplay. Although, I can see its prupose to divulge information from your submissive, but then it wouldn't be all that fun if it were for punishment purposes, now would it?

What does LARP stand for?

The idea of medieval torture is a major turn on for me.  But probably tough to create the atmosphere.  Id love to be held captive in a real dungeon..not what we call dungeons..... but a dungeon where it almost has the feeling of a haunted house...dusty dirty floor, make-shift torture devices, things that are old and creaky, mismatched dirty furniture, icky spider webs, etc.  Then getting an intermittent visit to be put on a different torture device, and left to stew for a while.  Of course Id want to know that my Dominant was really nearby.  Thats why I dont think I could handle an out and out interogation thing, Id get too freaked if it felt too real.   I am my own worst headfuck, really.

Dustyn -> RE: Interogation scenes. (6/10/2006 1:44:11 PM)

Hey, no one said I can read... LOL

Live Action Role Play... Vampire: The Masquerade, Living Greyhawk, Living Faerun... fantasy games...

I've been in the lifestyle for nearly 17 years, and only last year came to terms with why I am so uncomfortable with interrogation scenes. I was raised in a very dysfunctional family where my mother was manipulative, and forceful. She used interrogation in such a way that even if you didn't DO anything, you'd say whatever she wanted you to say just to make it stop.

For me, when I witness an interrogation scene (or strong verbal humiliation) I find myself experiencing the same emotions that I felt as a child and I just don't enjoy it. I find myself identifying with the person being questioned and the happiness drains out of me as if I were facing a pack of Dementors... (Harry Potter reference, guys... google it - lol).

I sort of had the same relationship with my mother. When I was introduced to the entire D/s relationship dynamic, my former would use interrogation with me as a method of dealing with his own extreme jealousy issues. Each time it happened, it was based on what he'd dreamed up in his mind, asking me questions to attempt to catch me in a lie....thinking I was secretly seeing another, etc...and I was not. Most of the time, it left me in tears because I recognized the same pattern from my mother.

It was abusive and he knew this.

The only positive aspect was that I made the connection, as you have; and began working to heal the old wounds from my childhood. Now, I refuse any kind of role play, games, etc that deal with interrogation.

I'm glad you made the connection as I did.Often, in any relationship, we bring our baggage and don't realize our partner can emotionally harm us, etc.
